Welcome to the weekend!

We've made it to another Friday! Whew.

As always, we've been looking forward to the weekly Friday Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by the ingenious 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader.

I really liked this week's fill-ins from the second I saw them.

1. I wish _________ would bring back _________.
2. An act of kindness that I do often is _________.
3. I still have _________ from my childhood.
4. If I didn't have _________, I'd be completely lost.

Aren't those great? Of course, that didn't mean answers came to my muddy mind right away. But, I sure tried my darnedest to come up with something worthy enough to post here...

1. I wish Mars would bring back PB Max candy bars.
(I've actually never had a PB Max candy bar. But I love chocolate and peanut butter, and for that reason my dad is always telling me that he thinks I would have really liked PB Max bars. So, I wish I could try a PB Max.)

2. An act of kindness that I do often is bake treats for family and friends.
(My family loves baked goods, and I enjoy baking, so they will always forward me recipes they find and will tell me what goodies they've been hungry for lately. I usually end up making baked goods multiple times a week. Although I also love me some baked goods, I don't eat a whole lot of them, as I happen to be overly sensitive to a shamefully long list of foods. And let's just say that one food I don't get along with all that well is flour. But, I bake with it anyway, and then mostly enjoy the goodies vicariously through others.)

3. I still have a Barney the Dinosaur sleeping bag from my childhood.
(I've shown off this sleeping bag on this blog of ours before. Well, actually, a certain furbaby has shown it off...
While I have long since outgrown this sleeping bag and can make little to no use of it, my furbabies sure can!)

4. If I didn't have pen and paper, I'd be completely lost.
(This is where I epically fail at being green. I don't use any gadgets for keeping track of things, giving myself reminders, or even for a calendar. Rather, I feel like a ship lost at sea if I don't have a pen and paper on which to take notes and make lists for myself. I would probably never remember my "to do" list or my grocery list if it wasn't stashed in my pocket on a crumpled up Post-It.)

Now, as per usual Friday tradition, it's Eddy's turn for some screen time. All I can say for her this week is that, one of these days, I'm determined to succeed at having a real photo shoot with Eddy. One of these days. But, since today is certainly not that day, I'll just have to settle for slapdash shots like this:

Thanks, Eddy! If blurry and off-center was your goal, you scored!

We want to wish everybuddy a wonderful Friday! We hope you have lots of fun planned for the weekend!

Our Tip of the Day:
A cat or dog stretching is usually very good sign. It means they are comfy, happy, content. But, in some instances, it can actually mean the opposite. If you cat or dog is stretching repeatedly or at an abnormal frequency, such as perhaps after eating, you may want to take note of this. Sometimes, if an animal has abdominal comfort, constipation, or something along these lines going on internally, they will stretch in attempts to feel relief. That's not to say that you should worry if you see your cat or dog stretching, because more often than not a stretch is a very good thing! But, you know your furbaby best, so do be aware that even normal activities like stretching could potentially be a cause for concern.

Thank you for always participating in the fill-ins, your answers are wonderful. I think it is sweet of you to make baked goods for your friends and family even though you can't enjoy them. Flour is in so many things, it must be hard for you to find things to eat. I would be lost without a pen and paper too, I prefer to write my lists out.
I never had a PB Max either, but I want one now.
Good try with Eddy :) And that is a great tip, I never thought of then stretching too much. Have a great weekend!

WE really like your fill-in answers. I like to write things down too. I used to like doing a lot of baking too but don't do it much any more. Eddy, that looks like a good picture and we do the same thing. It takes the Mom forever to get good pictures of us. You all have a great day.

Great answers ! Claire loves technology, but she loves to write things down with a pen on paper at the same time. Purrs

Wonderful answers! So if I send you a recipe for a treat that I like, you'll bake it for me? :-D (just kidding). I am the same way about paper and pen. I keep some reminders on my phone, but I still use a daybook and a notebook to keep track of tasks, make notes, etc.--I just like it! And I'm a visual person, so I need to see things in front of me.

All my lists are on paper too! I just can't get used to writing things like that on digital devices.

Eddy and the other kitty are beautiful kitties. It seems to be enjoying your Barney sleeping bag. How cute. :)
I'm sorry that flour gives you a difficult time. I have trouble with a lot of foods, too. It's no fun, but it is the lot we're given, I guess.

Have a blessed weekend!

It is nice the kitty can get use out of your Barney sleeping bag. The fur babies are cute.

I am with you on the pen and paper. I prefer having lists on paper and having a "real" calendar.

I've never heard of PB Max, but now I wish I had!

Sweet answers! I almost said pen & paper, too! I am forever taking notes making lists, writing down ideas for stories, bits of thoughts for poems...and my journals are all longhand. *sigh* We seem similar in so many things! I would love to sit and chat with you.

Thank you for being a part of Friendly Fill-Ins. With Summer coming to a close, I plan to get back to my usual routine. I will be going back to Mayo Clinic this Fall, so hope to get some resolution for my health issues, too. I appreciate your patience and understanding. Hugs.
