Sunday Selfie

Here we are for the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by our good furiends over at The Cat on My Head!

Can you guess which furbaby around here snapped a selfie for today? If you guessed our housemate Toby, you'd be right!

Toby informed this here human that he doesn't get near enough posts of his own on this blog, so he was promised this Sunday selfie all to himself. So, he used his cute little toesies and snapped himself a stunning little selfie. Oh, and as for those toesies...

For those who might not remember or don't know, Toby owns this here human's sister, and they both live with us. Toby also happens to be one of Thimble's litter mates. See the resemblance? Yeah, neither do we.

Have a stupendous Sunday!

Our Tip of the Day:
I think we all know what it's like to wear our kitty's or pup's fur on our clothes. Our furbabies shed, and our clothes seem to attract that hair. There are some potential means to combat this, though. For one, you can invest in a lint roller. If you get all dressed for the day, and then get your furry cuddle fix and end up covered in hair, you can whip out that lint roller and remove the hair from your clothes that way. You can also simply use tape in this same manner. You can also go as far as basing your wardrobe on your furbabies. If you have a white kitty or pup, when trying to avoid obvious hair on your clothes, put on something white or pale pastel. If your kitty or pup is black, go for black clothes. You can also try to camouflage the furbaby hair by wearing clothes with prints, such as leopard print or something floral. Of course, another option is simply to wear that fur with pride!

  2. Oh well, just another man who thinks he doesn't get enough attention... we superior girlcats are so much better with keeping our paw up and deal with attention deficits, hehe. Sneaky greetings

  8. Toby is a cutie, I love those white whiskers against his black fur. Great drawing too, I am so happy to have my own tuxie now ( Emmy). Great tip, we have lint rollers everywhere, but for the most part, I do wear their fur with pride.:)

  9. Looking good, Toby! That tuxedo of yours is sharp. And those toesies! :)

We love the tip about matching your wardrobe choices with the color of your pets. When Moosey was still with us, we used the lint rollers all the time, since he was white with tabby spots, and Gracie and Zoe are jet black. Ha!

  14. Mom is in love with today's drawing...so adorable. And Toby is absolutely handsome with wonderful white toes. He reminds me of our angel Daphne. Totally surprised he and Thimble are litter mates. Maybe one of those instances of two different dads. Thanks for hopping.
