Chaotic Caturday Art

Welcome to the weekend! Today, the official Caturday Art blog hop is on hiatus. That doesn't mean we didn't doodle up a little something to share, though.

For today, we wanted to create something to portray some of the chaos our favorite things that go on at our house. This doodle makes both perfect sense and no sense at all. It depends on how you look at it, we guess. Oh, and it has a little cameo from our angel Rosie as well!

This piece was all sorts of fun to create. But, like we said, it probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Furbabies galore, books and more books, some artsy fartsy fun, and burning supper all going down in one place? That might not be exactly how things happen at our house, but it's also not all that far off either.

Oh, and when it comes to our daily chaos, each furbaby has favorites, of course. Astrid and Evan love to help their mom set off the fire alarm cook and bake. Thimble loves hanging out in her little library with her books, as many of you already know. And Thimble as well as Eddy both love to help when their mom is doodling away (seriously, art supplies are so fun to slap around and hide beneath the couch!). And our angel Rosie, she was always there to help me while I read a book or doodled in my sketchbook.

What kind of chaos goes on at your house? We hope it's lots of fun, whatever it is!

Happy Caturday to all!

  1. That drawing is adorable! The smoke detector in our kitchen is very sensitive so it goes off a lot, even when steam reaches it. We always joke and say dinner is ready when it goes off. With 13 cats, we have a lot of chaos too. Have a great day!

  2. Hey, that looks like our house! Well, except for the artsy-fartsy part. Replace that with a stamp collection, and it's a perfect match!

  7. What an adorable drawing! The only chaos here is when Gracie and Zoe try to abscond with each other's food. :)
