A Festive Tasty Tuesday (#ChewyInfluencer)

Last week Astrid shared her views on some festive treats as part of the Chewy.com Blogger Outreach Program. This week, the kitties here got to try out some Christmasy goods.

I'm pretty sure I the human was just as excited about these treats as the kitties. There are two types of treats that are willingly eaten by the kitties around here (as in, Evan and Toby, since the girl kitties think treats are silliness), and Temptations™ are one of them. So, when I saw these holiday Temptations™ in turkey and sweet potato, I immediately jumped at the chance for the kitties to try them out.

I had very high hopes for these treats, given past success of Temptations™ at our house. And this time around, my high hopes were well received.

Not surprisingly, Evan gobbled these treats right on up.

Our housemate Toby also enjoyed them, but refused to give photographic evidence of this. As per usual, Thimble and Eddy ignored the treats, but we're not going to count their votes because they are unfairly prejudiced against treats.

(Disclaimer: As members of the Chewy.com Blogger Outreach Program, we received Temptations™ holiday treats in turkey and sweet potato in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are our own. We only review products that we believe will be of interest to our readers, and we never recommend a product that we do not believe in.)

We hope you all have a festive and tasty Tuesday!

Our Festive Doodle of the Day:

We've already shared at least one other Christmas pudding doodle this season, but what can we say?
We love us some Christmas pudding.

Our Tip of the Day:
Today we have our final tip on traveling with your furbaby this holiday season, or any time of the year. When traveling, always think ahead to your final destination and your plans for the entire trip, and then prepare accordingly. Will you be staying with family or friends? Do they have other animals? If so, does your furbaby get along with the other animals? Will your kitty or pup need to remain in a separate room or in a cage? Or, are you staying in a hotel? If so, did you ensure that it's a pet-friendly hotel? What are their requirements for a pet staying at their facility? Consider any and all such factors, and then think ahead to what you might need to prep for your furbaby's stay at your final destination. In all of this planning, of course also don't forget the basic necessities. Bring plenty of your furbaby's food, especially if they are on a prescription diet. Bring bowls and even water as needed. If your furbaby is on medication, bring ample amounts of it, especially in the event of any unexpected delays. Don't forget any potentially necessary items, such as cages, leashes, harnesses, seat belts, blankets, toys, and even cleaning supplies. Though it may not be a pleasant thought, also be sure to make plans and preparations for any emergencies that might arise. For example, take your furbaby's medical records with you, your veterinarian's information, as well as contact and other information on veterinary hospitals located in your travel destination. It never hurts to be over-prepared, so as space allows, plan and pack anything and everything you might need for the comfort and safety of your furbaby during your travels.

We don't know a lot of cats that would say no to a Temptation!

Thimble and Eddy are so funny that they don't go for treats. Glad they were a hit with Evan and Toby :) Cute drawing, I would like to try figgy pudding someday. And excellent tip too.

Cats who don't like treats?!?!?! WHAT?!?!?! After Kitty threw up very time she got Temptations - I'd essentially blocked them out. But earlier this year, we got a sample of them and Bear gobbled them up with no problem. I bet both kitties would gobble (turkey ... gobble ... hahahaha) these up!

Yum! Holiday Dinner Temptations? We know some shelter cats who would love those. And for what it's worth, Thimble and Eddy, Gracie doesn't like treats, either (and neither did Zoe). :)
