A Winter Wonderland Snack (#ChewyInfluencer)

As part of the Chewy.com Blogger Outreach Program, we get to try out lots of wonderful products. This month, we were of course excited to feast on some festive goodies. Astrid, in particular, got to do a taste test of some cookies fit for Santa himself.

Just look at that packaging! I think I was more excited to feast my eyes on this festive scene than Astrid even was to have a taste of what was inside.

These Blue BuffaloⓇ Santa SnacksⓇ dog biscuits have a lot going for them, if you ask us. They are made with oatmeal and cinnamon, perfect for this time of the year. What's more, these treats contain no corn, wheat, or soy, as well as no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. They also contain no chicken by-products meals.

The main concern I had for these treats is that Astrid prefers soft and chewy treats, and these are crunchy.

I didn't lose all hope, though, because if a treat is crunchy yet also delicious, Astrid will ignore her dislike for all things crunchy and eat it. Luckily, Astrid did seem intrigued by these treats early on, which I took as a good sign.

This is where the taste test comes in. So, what did Astrid think of these Blue BuffaloⓇ Santa SnacksⓇ treats?

Astrid enjoyed them! She did leave behind some of the crumbs there, but that is not unusual for her when it comes to any treat. Let's be honest, Astrid is a bit of a slob. But I digress.

So, that's four paws up that Astrid gives the Blue BuffaloⓇ Santa SnacksⓇ dog treats!

We hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Our Tip of the Day:
This holiday season, don't forget the dangers that fire can cause. Some festivities include the lighting of candles, and some of us simply like to light candles for their lovely scents. If you do light candles in your home, as you certainly know, do be sure that these are out of reach of your furbabies for safety's sake. Also, of course, be aware of the dangers the fireplace can pose. If your fireplace is lit, do be sure that your kitty or pup cannot reach the flames, such as by putting up a barrier, or even blocking them from the room with the fireplace altogether. In addition to this, for everyone's safety, don't forget to stay on top of the care and keeping of your fireplace. Before using it for the season, have the chimney cleaned out, so that bird nests or other potentially flammable objects are not lying in wait up there, making a house fire more than possible. As always, better safe than sorry!

I am glad they were a hit with Astrid. Very cute drawing. And as always, excellent tip. No real candles in this house.
