Sunday Selfie with a Side of Snow

We got our first snowfall of the season this weekend, courtesy of Mother Nature. Cold though it may be, I've always enjoyed snow for its beauty. I think my girl Thimble is of the same mind, as she spent a good chunk of time watching the snow fall. And, what a purrfect time for a selfie!

To join in on this week's Sunday Selfie blog hop hosted by The Cat on My Head, Thimble went for a pensive look, pondering the Winter Wonderland outside the window:

      We live in central Illinois, which only got a couple inches of snow. It sure was pretty to watch, but we were glad to be inside!

    We got our first snow yesterday, too. Just a couple of inches...but farther north from us they got waaaaaay more.

    We haven't had snow yet. I just love watching kitties look out the window. Thimble looks precious and pensive. :)

    We live in the same state as the Island Cats, in fact, we are only about 30 minutes away from them, while they barely had any snow...we had close to EIGHT inches! Thankfully, it will be gone (for now), by the end of the week. xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody

      Luckily we only got a couple of inches where we live in central Illinois. My uncle lives up in Michigan, and I've heard stories of the epic snowfalls that can happen there. I hope you don't get buried up there this winter! Purrs and warm wishes!

    So far we have been lucky and have not had any snow yet. Hope your snow goes away soon. What a great selfie just watching that snow.

    We very rarely get snow here in our part of New Zealand. 2011 was the last time, and our tortie Sienna looked out the back window with total disbelief - she could NOT understand what this weird white stuff was and she was HORRIFIED!!!!!
