Mancat Monday

Our Mancat Monday post today is a twofer. In other words, you get to see both of the mancats in this house. That's right, Evan and Toby teamed up for this one. There's also a cameo from a certain kitty taxi cab.

Do you see all that debris splattered on Toby's furry coat in that photo? That's paraphernalia. He took an unashamed bath in nip. And then he got behind the wheel. Bad boy, Toby, bad boy. Don't worry, though, because Evan took his keys away. (PSA: Do not nip and drive, kitties!)

Evan gave Toby a scolding. After all, not only did Toby try to drive of in Evan's wheels, but Toby also tried to do so while under the influence of nip.

We meant to show you these mancat vs. mancat photos a while back. After all, this battle for the kitty cab actually occurred on Christmas Day itself. Somehow, though, this here human completely forgot about these photos, and therefore completely forgot to share them. Better late than never has become one of our life mottos these days, it would seem.

Anyway, none of you friends of ours have tried to operate a vehicle while under the influence of nip, have you? We sure hope not!

We are now of course participating in the Sparks blog hop, hosted by Annie of McGuffy's Reader.

With this wonderful blog hop, we are meant to share positive, inspiring thoughts. This week, we wanted to tie our Sparks in with Valentine's Day. So, here is our thought on love:

(As a random side note, I usually like to write the quotes on my drawings myself, despite the fact that my handwriting isn't anything special. Right before I scheduled this post, though, I realized that I somehow managed to forget to write the quote on the drawing. Talk about scatterbrained. Anyway, I typed in the quote literally a few seconds ago, so now all is well.)

Wishing you all lots of love!

Our Tip of the Day:
We're continuing on with our tips for National Cat Health Month, today's tip being all about diet. As you all certainly know, not all foods are created equal. Always be sure to do your research and read labels, ensuring that you are feeding your kitty food that is as high-quality as possible. Also remember that cats are obligate carnivores, so make sure that their diet largely reflects this. In addition, when it comes to feeding your cat, it is of course important to take a number of other factors into consideration, such as their age and health status. For example, kittens do best on foods formulated for kittens, as these diets will include higher protein and fat content, which helps aid in their growth and development. As your cat ages, consider how their health will affect their dietary needs. For example, does your cat have kidney disease or diabetes? Cats with kidney disease should be on a diet lower in protein, in order to help their kidneys function as well as possible. On the other hand, cats with diabetes are often better regulated when on a diet higher in protein. Other factors that could affect diet include of course food allergies, dermatitis, arthritis, dental disease, and weight, just to name a few. The most important thing is to understand your cat's dietary needs based on their overall health status. Of course, as needed, discuss your kitty's dietary needs with their veterinarian, and make sure you understand what type of food would be best for them.

I love the writings of Kahlil Gibran, and this quote is especially beautiful. A life without love is no life at all, it is sad. Love is such a wonderful thing to give and share... and it always returns to us! The image you shared is delightful!

Me? Nip and drive. Never. Not even coming home from Nipclub. NOOOO. That wasn't why I crashed up my 'Stang. You tell 'em, Evan. Give his a ticket. Re: your tip. Have you seen the stuff about the euthanasia drug found in dog food. I have it on FB cos the brand also makes some cheap cat foods.

That Kitty Kab looks great! We would never Nip and Drive outside the house, but inside, we have TBT watching us, so it is OK.

Gotta watch yourself when imbibing... or have friends step in to help you out. Spark is so true. Life would be barren without love.

I LOVE THIS! I am a devout follower of Gibran, The Prophet being my favourite book. You need to sign your work, so when people use it (they will) you will be credited. I love this and would frame it in a heartbeat. Thank you for being a Spark. HUGS.
