Queen Rosie

I recently realized that I haven't given a true update on Rosie in quite some time. Well, it's been a little over two months since she had to have her right eye removed, and she's been doing great! There is still some occasional seepage from the incision scar, but it does not appear to be anything concerning. I'll continue to keep an eye on it, and if there are any changes or concerns she'll be visiting the vet.

Now, the lighting was poor and Rosie was not really conducive to sitting still, so please excuse the quality of the photo. But, here's the little old lady in all of her infinite cuteness:
Queen Rosie.
Since having her eye removed, Rosie seems both more content and more active. Of course, she is still 21 years old, arthritic, and suffering from renal disease, so she certainly won't be running any laps, but overall she really is doing well. She likes to tell us humans how it is and likes to watch us keep her bowls satisfactorily full, and she likes to give the kittens the what-for and chase them away from her beloved couch. Go, Rosie!

My furballs and I hope everyone is having a wonderful week thus far!

What a great update! It's so good to hear how well Rosie is doing. She's an amazing lady. She is so pretty. I love that she chases all the whipper-snappers away from her couch. :)
