I only recently learned about the Caturday Art blog hop posted by Athena and Marie. For that pawesome blog hop, we are all invited to have fun making artsy edits to photos of our furbabies!
That being said, my dilemma is that I'm far from a photographer, and I'm even farther from technologically savvy, which makes photo editing just a tad bit daunting for me. I do, however, love to draw and make all sorts of arts and crafts messes. And, of course, my furbabies (and animals in general) are often the subjects of my artistic endeavors.
So, I'm going to sort of bend the rules and share some drawings I've created of my furbabies for this Caturday Art blog hop. I apologize for cheating.
The following drawings are going on a year old, as the first one I made was a result of my desire to appreciate how lovely my sweet angel Rosie was even after her eye removal surgery so many months ago. That one quick drawing that I felt compelled to create for my little old ladycat, though, propelled me into creating drawings of all of my furbabies...
My sweet angel Rosie. |
My momma's boy Evan. |
My adorable little girl Thimble. |
My goofball of a pooch, Astrid. |
I've previously shared here on this blog a couple pieces of art I created for my angel Rosie, but I've actually been for some time considering sharing more of my animal art with all you pawesome furbaby bloggers. And then I learned about this fun Caturday Art blog hop! (Again, please forgive my photoless cheating...)
Happy Caturday, everybuddy!

You didn't cheat at ALL!!!!! That is ART! I will tell you, hand-made art created with one's natural gift, beats ANYTHING created by Photoshop or any other photo editor!!!!! I draw and the time it takes takes much more effort! Beautiful! catchatwithcarenandcody
That's not cheating! You did great, dear friend, because as Caren said ... that is art! :)
We love your beautiful drawings of your babies. Thank you for sharing.
I agree that this isn't a cheat. Quite honestly, I don't have an artistic bone in my body and if it weren't for photo editors, I wouldn't be able to join this blog hop at all. You're the real deal! You're so talented and I admit to be being jealous. I just adore these drawings of your babies!
Those all came out great.
Wow, those are all terrific Caturday Art pictures! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your cat art!
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs, Spike William
