Our clever hosts of 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader never disappoint. Here are the fun fill-ins for this week:
1. I would like to interview _________.
2. I would like to be interviewed by _________.
3. Halloween night _________.
4. Once Halloween is over, _________.
And here's what I managed:
1. I would like to interview J.R.R. Tolkien.
(Regular readers of this blog might remember that I sort of adore Tolkien and his works. I know he is deceased, sadly, but if it were ever in the realm of possibility, I would love to pick his brain.)
2. I would like to be interviewed by my furbabies.
(I would love to be able to speak with them and know what questions they have for me. I could spoil them so much better if I knew exactly what they had to say and what they wanted to know.)
3. Halloween night is one of my favorite nights of the year.
(I've probably said it a gazillion times, but I love Halloween. I love to hand out candy, watch Halloween and other scary movies, and to just enjoy the spooky ambiance of the holiday. I know not everyone likes the eerie and macabre, but I am one of those who is quite intrigued by it.)
4. Once Halloween is over, I'll start gearing up for Christmas.
(I love Christmas just like I love Halloween. I always allow my Halloween fun to continue for a couple of days into November, but after that I start really getting excited for Christmas. I'll start playing Christmas music, doing my Christmas shopping, all that jazz. I enjoy Thanksgiving in there as well, and I do try to give it its just due. I even try to hold out putting up my main Christmas decorations until the day after Thanksgiving, so that it doesn't get neglected. To be honest, though, for me Thanksgiving is more like an appetizer leading up to Christmas.)
As always, now it's Eddy's turn to star in this post!
What do you all think? Is this a scowl? A wink? Something else altogether?
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Our Doodle of the Day:
***
Our Tip of the Day:
If your furbaby enjoys dressing up for Halloween, please make sure any costume they wear is safe. If there are loose pieces, such as strings or pom-poms, be sure to either remove them or closely monitor them to prevent injury. If you take your furbaby out for a walk in their costume, especially at night, ensure that it can allow them to be seen by both pedestrians and drivers, such as by means of reflective or bright pieces. Of course, it is also important to ensure that they are easily seen at night, such as with a reflective collar, any time of the year. Some furbabies are not keen on wearing costumes, so do keep this in mind as well. For those who do enjoy it, though, be sure help them stay safe while donning their special wardrobe!

We think that is just a face of contentment. Love the doodle. A nice ghost. You all have a fine day.
Thank you for these great fill-in answers. I love the second answer, I wish I had thought of that. It would be nice to know what our pets are thinking.I love Halloween and Christmas just like you- the last 3 months of the year are my favorite.
I think Eddy is winking, she would never scowl. She is a cutie.
Very cute drawing and excellent tip. My cats only have costumes on for the two seconds it takes to snap the photo :) Have a nice weekend! XO
How awesome it would be to be able to talk with your kitties! The Halloween movies are so scary. I've seen a few of them more than once, and I'm scared each time.
Eddy looks like she's taking a selfie.
Love the ghost doodle! :)
You look relaxed and happy, Eddy ! Purrs
That's a, "Moooooooommmm! I'm TIRED and trying to take a nap here!!!"
I did a post where Bear answered a bunch of questions about me - and I answered the same ones about him. I got it off Facebook - and it was a great way to share more about both of us :) We hope Astrid's doing well and healing!

I had to smile at #1. I would love to read that interview. Halloween night I usually watch Young Frankenstein, after the kids are no longer coming to the door. By then, I have read Poe, watched Karloff and Chaney, and waited for The Great Pumpkin, so...that is what is left! Enjoy, my friend. Hugs!
*Special xoxo for Astrid!*
Love your answers! The only way we differ is that my decorations start going up Veterans Day weekend :)
Your Halloween doodle is adorable! SO CUTE!
Eddy is in full stink-eye mode.
