You know who didn't get to share a photo this past week? Pup Astrid!
To make up for getting neglected on our blog this week, Astrid decided to snap a window selfie for you all today. Since she's only shared roughly a million of those before.
Happy Sunday, friends!
Flashback Doodle of the Day
Before we share our new holiday mashup doodles this week, how about yet another one from years past?
Tip of the Day
Today's pet cancer prevention tip is to steer clear of products with potentially dangerous chemicals, such as certain lawn treatments and detergents. These types of products can be dangerous for a number of reasons, just one being that some of the chemicals in them have been found potentially carcinogenic. This goes for both our furbabies and our human selves. For this reason, always do your research, check ingredients, and when in doubt, simply do not use it. These days, there are lot more products on the market that are made with more natural, less carcinogenic ingredients, so perhaps look into using those such products when needed.
Speaking of carcinogenic chemicals, we also today want to remind you that, just like us humans, it is possible for our furbabies to be affected by cigarette smoke, and cancer could potentially develop as a result. For this reason, if you smoke, avoid doing this in the home or around your kitty or pup. In addition, when out in public, do your best to keep your furbabies away from areas where smoking is common. Smoking affects more than just the smoker, so for the sake of both yourself and your furbaby, do try to avoid it.
Astrid, I can hear your 'woof' of ennui from here!
Nice selfie Astrid. I like the drawing and tips too.
Great selfie. We don't treat our lawn because the chemicals might affect the dogs.
Gotta love that pouty snout, and the doodle.
You do you, Astrid!
