Thankful Thimble Thursday

Hello, friends! We've had an unexpectedly chaotic week both at work and at home, and so we're just popping in for a late, quick post today. I've not forgotten that I'm now three weeks behind on our poems for Angel Sammy's Thoroughly Poetic Thursday challenge, and I'm already working on melding all three of those weeks' poetic prompts together for a mashup poem.

Now, let's get right to Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, shall we?

This week, Thimble is grateful for Christmas movies. More so, she's thankful for being able to sit in front of the TV to get the attention she very much deserves.

Can you tell which Christmas movie that is from that poorly timed, blurry still? Thimble says it really doesn't matter which movie it is, though. Why? Because she's the only thing in this photo that really matters.

Happy Thursday, friends!

Last but not least, we have for you the fill-in statements for tomorrow's Friendly Fill-Ins challenge. My co-host Ellen of 15andmeowing came up with the first two statements, and I came up with the second two.

1. My biggest pet peeve at Christmastime is _________.

2. _________ is on my list to Santa.

3. My Christmas to-do list still includes _________.

4. A random piece of Christmas trivia that I know is _________.

We'll see you tomorrow, friends!

Festive Flashback Doodle of the Day

Our upcoming mashup poem and its illustration will involve my favorite festive red truck. So, today we're sharing a flashback starring just that. And of course some kitties. And snowkitties.

Tip of the Day

In a previous tip, we mentioned being cautious with ribbon usage on gifts this time of year, due to the potential hazards they pose. Along this same line of thought, also be careful with gift wrapping tools. For example, scissors and tape can also pose risks. Scissors can obviously cause injury if left open and unattended, and tape can potentially cause blockages if consumed. This time of year many of us are focused on the fun and festivities, but also be sure that you take into account all surroundings and how they might affect the furbabies in your life.

Thimble is a cutie. That is either Home Alone 1 or 2. I like the drawing and the tips are excellent. XO

Enjoying a movie with Mama is the best part of a kitty girl’s evening!
