The original shirt I saw with this saying had those exact words, except in that case they were accompanied by images of a cat and a cup of coffee. However, I'm not, to many people's disbelief, a fan of coffee. But, I am a fan of books, hence this drawing. Of course, this piece could also work for me if it portrayed a dog and/or anything pertaining to chocolate and peanut butter.
Now, I'm curious and would like to ask, what sort of things would most accurately illustrate this saying for you? What are your simple needs?

Our Tip of the Day:
Be cautious that your dogs and cats do not have access to unbaked bread dough. If ingested, bread dough can expand in the stomach of your furbaby, leading to bloat and possibly twisted stomach. Bloat can also result if yeast found in bread dough ferments to produce carbon dioxide within a dog or cat's stomach. Additionally, yeast fermentation can lead to the production of alcohol in a dog or cat's stomach, which can quickly lead to alcohol poisoning. So, long story short, no bread dough for your furbabies!

Your drawing is lovely and simple and simple says it all, MM :) My needs are simple too, eat, drink, birds, mice, a lap, Granny, catnip and a tablet...I guess that will be all..for now ;) Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend :) <3
My mom's needs are very simple = just me!!! (Well, and the other cats, too). Great tip about raw bread dough. Thanks.
Love your art!
That is such a great picture. Our Mom loves peanut butter and chocolate too. What could be better, and the kitties all love catnip and just food in general.
Lovely pic! My needs are simple - just cats (and music, books & chocolate).

That is a great drawing, I would add in the cup of coffee and all my needs would be met too. Good point about bread.
I am with you half way. A good book and a cup of coffee will do me fine. I love this concept. I just returned from a trip to Thailand where the people's needs are simple and they are happy. I think we clutter our lives and end up with unneeded stress. Great post, Menagerie Mom (do you have a name you could share?)

That's a great drawing! You are very talented. Our mom also loves cats and books. :) That and running, and she's a happy human!
Aw, Thimble looks so cute. I love the theme. I like cats & books but also coffee and chocolate.

What creative and fun art. TW would say cats and coffee or chocolate. There's an outside chance a crossword puzzle would be thrown in there too.
We love your art this week. It's purrrrfect!
Cats, books, and coffee...which is pretty obvious given my blog title LOL. I love your artwork more everyday :)
Oh this fits me perfectly! Cats and books--perfect. I would throw in a pen and notebook for writing. :-)
Our TBT is not a coffee fan either. He wants his cuppa green tea every morning. In fact, sometimes when we just sit around all day, he threatens ta put a tea bag in our waterbowl.
That's a wonderful drawing, and it sums up how we feel, too. Of course, we might include coffee in OUR drawing. :)
Hugs!
Actually I am a coffee fanatic!! So for me, it would be a cat, a dog and COFFEE! xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
