...which seemed perfectly apt, since she is the primary reason this new toy was purchased. Why is that? Because Thibmle is the master at batting and shoving any and all toys under any and every piece of furniture. Honestly, the girl can turn a room full of toys into a wasteland of kitty boredom in a matter of seconds.
So, this house will now be getting more toys that cannot be lost beneath every couch and chair around. This new toy is a hit so far. Thimble loves it and can play with it for hours...
...Oh, hello, Eddy. Yep, Eddy loves the toy, too. You know how we just said that Thimble can play with this toy for hours? Well, Eddy can play with it for hours and then some. She'll spin that ball round and round until the cows come home. And even after that. Apparently 3 o'clock in the morning is a prime time to play with this thing.
Now, Eddy, don't be a toy hog.
Okay, it looks like it's Evan's turn.
He loves the toy as well. His bouts of play with it are a bit more brief than Thimble and Eddy's, but also far more fierce. He's very proud of his skills...
...Oh, hello again, Eddy. Yes, we know you like the toy. Now, can someone else have a turn?
Apparently not.
Happy Tuesday, everybuddy!

Our Tip of the Day:April is Heartworm Awareness Month, so today's tip is a reminder to please consider giving your furbabies heartworm prevention. Mosquitoes can transmit heartworms to dogs and cats, and it is a very serious and potentially fatal condition. Although treatable in dogs, it can be a lengthy and costly process, and lasting damage can still result, so using prevention is the most advisable option. In cats, heartworm treatment doe not work, making prevention the only option. So, please do consider giving heartworm prevention to your furbabies!

We have one of those and it is the the most popular toy of all the toys. The cats do enjoy it. Glad everyone at your house likes it. Good for you Evan to play with that toy.
We had one of those once but we wouldn't play with it so Mum gave it away.
Glad it's a hit! We have one but don't play with it anymore.
That is great that everyone is enjoying the new toy. My cats have never gotten into that type of toy, I tried 2 different ones and ended up giving them away. Excellent tip about heartworm. I am torn on the cats because they are inside and I don't like to give extra meds, I know mosquitos can get inside though- especially when you have cats that pick holes in the screens like mine do.
Have fun ! Purrs
We have a round toy with a ball in it, too, but our ball makes bird sounds when we bat it. We can ignore it for months and then wake Mom Paula up in the middle of the night playing with it.
It is nice to see they are all enjoying the toy.
Mudpie has a similar toy and loves it too! (She's happy that she doesn't have to share hers LOL)
We have one of those types of toys and we hardly ever play with it anymore. We wonder why.
That's so great that you kitties enjoy that toy so much! It sure is fun, huh? We have some at the shelter, and lots of the cats love playing with them, scratching them, and sleeping on them, if you can believe it. :)
We have two of those, and the kitties do enjoy them. I have heard the ball go round and round in the middle of the night too. LOL
