Ho ho ho!

Santa Paws will be here in no time!

We bet all of you friends of ours have been good all year, and will be getting lots of goodies! The best part is having family, friends, and a forever home, though, isn't it? This time of year, we purr and pray extra hard that all homeless furbabies will soon know the love of a family and home of their own. Can you make that happen, Santa Paws? We're purring and praying for this.

Of course, our doodle up there is our contribution to Athena's Caturday Art blog hop.

Happy Caturday to all! And don't forget to bake Santa Paws some cookies!

Our  Tip of the Day:
This time of year, our houses are often more full of potential dangers. For this reason, before you  leave your furbaby home unattended, whether it be just shortly or for a long while, be sure to make the house a safe place for them to stay. For example, unplug the Christmas tree lights and other similar decorations so that they can not harm themselves. Another important consideration are candy or snack bowls, or dishes in general. Don't leave candy or other finger foods out where your furbaby could consume potentially toxic foods. Also be sure to clear the table and keep dirty plates away from your kitty or pup, to avoid them licking or eating dangerous remnants. In addition, don't forget about the trash bin. Be sure to empty it or conceal it from your furbaby, especially if it contains any turkey bones or other hazardous materials. Our festivities this time of year can often mean risks for our furbabies, so be sure to take all such aspects into consideration, especially before you leave your furbaby home alone.

I'll be purring and praying right along with y'all as I'm so grateful my mom and dad snatched me from Orange County Animal Services almost a year ago, especially at my advanced age and what with all the young'uns available. Wonderful tips above, too. Even I have this thing about shiny objects, string, floss, shoelaces- you name it. I'm like an infant that way. I try to put almost everything I see on the floor in my mouth! Enjoy a wonderful holiday weekend!!!

Santa Paws has ALREADY BEEN to our house! Having got rid of our Intruder House Guest, the Human told me we could open our SECRET PAWS package this morning and Oh BAST! What a treasure trove it was!!! We have pictures and movies and everything that we will post when the Human returns from ABANDONING me for a couple days (okay, okay, I have caretakers coming to feed me so I don't STARVE or anything) which should be Wednesday. I never got so many wonderful presents before and that grammy-blanket is just the BEST! We are sooooooooo thankful you were our Secret Santa Paws, and we hope you have the best Crispmouse EVER! <3 <3 <3 from Spitty & the Human

Oh I sure do hope that Sandy Paws can find forever homes for all the homeless kitties on the streets & those in shelters. And you are so right about the hazards around the house at Christmas. Mom makes sure that holiday ribbons are kept up out-of-reach from me or I'll eat them. Kittie's can choke on ribbons or get their tummies clogged up from them. Have a safe & happy holiday! Hugs! -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews
