Do you see both Eddy and Evan in that flashback photo up there? That's the Christmas tree I set up just for Eddy in my bedroom, the room she prefers to live in so that she doesn't have to hang out with certain other cats in the house. Both Evan and Eddy enjoyed hanging out by that tree last year, and they still do this year.
And that there was a shot I'm glad I snapped of Tonks last Christmas. She and her raspberry were relaxing on the back cushion of a rocking chair, somewhere she still likes to nap to this day. That chair is in the same spot this year, too, so she still often enjoys the view of that Christmas tree from her favorite rocking chair.
That up there was the day we received our Secret Santa Paws package in the mail last year. Thimble was so happy to show it off. She also seemed to know there were goodies for her in it, because she wouldn't leave it alone. I had to hide it until the day we were ready to open it.
Does anyone remember Astrid's Christmas sweater from last year? She's of course wearing it this year as well. The pup's not the only one who donned Christmas attire, though. A couple of black cats tried out some festive neckwear last year. See?
The furbabies hope you enjoyed these festive flashbacks. Merry Christmas season!
Festive Doodle of the Day
Tip of the Day
In all of this planning, of course also don't forget the basic necessities. Bring plenty of your furbaby's food, especially if they are on a prescription or other special diet. Bring bowls and even water as needed. If your furbaby is on medication, bring ample amounts of it, especially in the event of any unexpected delays. Don't forget any potentially necessary items, such as cages, leashes, harnesses, seat belts, blankets, toys, and even cleaning supplies. Though it may not be a pleasant thought, also be sure to make plans and preparations for any emergencies that might arise. For example, take your furbaby's medical records with you, your veterinarian's information, as well as contact and other information on veterinary hospitals located in your travel destination. It never hurts to be over-prepared, so as space allows, plan and pack anything and everything you might need for the comfort and safety of your furbaby during your travels.
