All that to say, I scribbled up this little doodle for my cat-loving mom in honor of her late mother.
Happy Caturday, friends!

Tip of the Day
Our last couple tips in the parasite discussion are all about preventatives. We've already mentioned the importance of keeping up on administering parasite preventatives for your furbaby, even year round if possible. But, there's more to it than just that.
For today, we're going to specifically mention the importance of making sure you are administering a preventative only to the species for which it is intended. This can be crucial, and even a life or death scenario. For example, some preventatives formulated for dogs can have devastating effects on cats. This is because preventatives for dogs can contain pyrethrin/pyrethroid, which is safe for dogs. Cats, on the other hand, are highly sensitive to this compound, and it is toxic to them. This is not only something to keep in mind when purchasing or using preventatives directly on a cat, but also when using preventatives on a dog who lives with or has contact with cats. Do your research and discuss with your veterinarian the best preventatives and methods for keeping both your kitties and pups healthy and safe.

What a wonderful doodle, as always. Dad knew about the Red Hat Society. Before he and mom moved south they both worked at a retirement community where the ladies gathered on a monthly basis in one of the activity rooms.
My mother lost both her mother and her husband in a few short years.
She's tough, and has been hanging tough during the pandemic...and now we want to take her car keys away because of sight and health issues.
I'm sure that she will manage; she has managed everything else.
I know about the Red Hat Society, that is what The Crotchety Cougars was based on for lady cats. I love the drawing. I feel so old, I could join. XO
We never knew about that but then we're from England.
Lovely doodle!
What a cute doodle! My MIL is a red hat lady...or at least she used to be. I don't know if she still is...I'll have to ask her. ~Island Cat Mom
Adorable! I remember the red hat lady craze well.
Beautiful! That's a lovely gift for Mother's Day, an original artwork in her honor.
That is so cute. We bet your mom loved that Mother's Day card!
We never heard of the Red Hat Society before, and neither has Our Human, but She does remember a red felt stetson-type hat her mother had. In fact, She thinks She still has it somewhere.
Amazing art with feeling! I have a red hat too.
