Hi, friends! My sister didn't get a chance to look at my malfunctioning laptop last night, and I still can't figure out what my innocent little Thimble did to so thoroughly lose its connection with the internet. My sister said she'll for sure look at the laptop tonight, but that means for right now us and our blog are still a mess and a half, and I'm now yet again drafting up this unfortunate post on my phone.
What we're supposed to be sharing today is our already belated Day of the Dead celebration, with photos of all of our cat and dog Day of the Dead figurines. But, until I can finally upload all of those images for that to our blog, I did go back into our blog archives and find a little something.
That there is the what started our Day of the Dead kitty and pup figurine collection. We won that from Melissa and Mudpie's blog,
Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries, & Meows, way back in 2016. Since then, nearly every year I have added at least one new figurine to our collection. For now, they all sit on the bookshelf in our little home library. I couldn't find a photo in our blog archive of that figurine living on our library bookshelf, but I did find some other library bookshelf photos of Thimble helping me decorate for Halloween.
Those were the before photos, and now we'll share the after.
That's no longer how our library is set up, as that desk Thimble is standing on has moved. But, you better believe that when that desk was there, Thimble was regularly throwing that pesky little ghost to the floor.
While I was grabbing those photos from my blog archive, I saw this here doodle that it would seem I shared on the same day.
I had forgotten about that doodle, as it's a few years old. But, there it is.
My sister, the tech savvy one in the family, promised she'd help me fix my computer tonight. She seems to already have an idea what might be wrong with it, and my guess is she'll have it fixed in a matter of minutes after I've spent days toying with it to no avail. When she does put me to shame like that, I'll get all those Day of the Dead and final Halloween images uploaded and we'll finally be set to top off the season. And to finally get this sad excuse of a blog back up and going properly.
See you tomorrow, friends!

It's like when I had my first iPhone is my hot little hands, then my niece took it from me and showed me how to do this, that, and the other!
Thimble is such a good model. I love that cat statue. The drawing is great too. Good luck with the computer.
I hope you get the laptop figured out...but big kudos to you for doing a post from your phone. There's no way I could ever do that...my eyes hurt just thinking about it. ~the mom
I think 2016 is probably the first year I started collecting them too!
You do have quite the Halloween collection, i hope you get to fix your computer soon. To err is human but to really foul things up requires technology.
