Today you will find our contribution to this month's The Pet Blogger Bloopers Round-Up, hosted by The Lazy Pit Bull. Sometimes photo shoots just don't turn out like you had planned. That tends to happen a lot around here.

Don't you just hate it when you have the resident pup all set up for a photo shoot, and then that darn blanket monster pops up to ruin the scene?

 What does that little monster under there look like, anyway?

Oh, I see. Should we get a closer view?

Whoa. What a terrifying little beast.

Other times photo shoots are interrupted by this thing called hygiene.

Honestly, Evan, you look downright dashing already. Now, will you please look at the camera?

Um, hello? Does this qualify as indecent exposure?

And how about those times when a certain kitty named Eddy finally sits still...

...but then refuses to look at the camera.

Pssst, Eddy, over here.

And then there are those who will look at the camera, and even say "cheese"!

 But even that can take a dark turn.

Yikes.

And then there are those housemates who glow in the sun.

 Sheesh, Toby, turn your brights off before you blind someone.

 Well, furiends, it's finally Friday! We hope everybuddy is looking forward to the weekend!

Our Tip of the Day:

Yesterday I gave a few tips on how to keep your kitchen pet-friendly. Now, how about the bathroom? As I'm sure you all know, it's advisable to keep potentially dangerous items, such as medications and dental floss, in cabinets and drawers so that your furbabies can't snatch them up and ingest them. Also be cognizant of where you keep bathroom cleaners, as many of these can contain components that are potentially poisonous to cats and dogs. What's more, be careful and diligent about leaving any cleaner residue behind after using them. It's not impossible for danger to result from your dog drinking out of a freshly cleaned toilet, or from your cat sitting in or drinking from a freshly cleaned sink or bathtub. And, speaking of the sink and bathtub, be careful not to leave them unattended while filled with water, especially if you have smaller furbabies that could potentially drown in them. As always, it's better to be safe than sorry!
