Do any of you have angles that just don't make you look your best? I never thought I did, until I snapped that shot up there. Just look at my ears! I could tie them in a knot, and tie them in a bow. Yikes! I'll just pretend this photo shoot never happened.

Our Doodle of the Day:
We have one more patriotic doodle to share with you all. It was created for the upcoming art fair in which I'm participating, to benefit the American Legion.
As we said a couple times before, the aforementioned art fair has the theme of Christmas in July. Tomorrow's doodle will be an illustration for our Thoroughly Poetic Thursday poem, but starting on Friday, you'll be getting your summertime dose of Christmas!

Our Tip of the Day:
Today's pet parenting hack tip is a simple yet important one. Especially if your furbaby is a known chewer, do consider getting covers for power cords and other cables. I'm sure you all know the dangers that chewing on a cord can pose to our furbabies. So, to prevent this, cover up those cords and cables. There are a variety of cord and cable covers available on the market. There are covers that encase cords so that they are safe yet still able to be easily moved, and there are ones that essentially pin cords safely and securely to the floor. Of course, those are just two examples as to how you can make cords and cables safe around your furbabies. Perhaps do a bit of research, and, depending on your home and technological setup, determine what kind of cord and cable covers would best work for both you and your furbaby. As we always say, it's better to be safe than sorry!

You look great from all angles Thimble.That is a cute drawing. Excellent tip too. We have cord covers from IKEA that look like vacuum hoses. We needed them when my niece lived here with her cat, he chewed everything. He especially loved all the spaghetti straps on her tank tops :)
