Do you see the Christmas decor hanging up behind Thimble? That's an example of how we have to display ornaments at our house these days. Ornaments are no longer safe on the tree, so they're hung from garland that's strung high on the wall. Sometimes, the kitties around here think that's just plain rude. How are you supposed to bat around ornaments if you can't reach them?
Have a fun and festive day, friends!

Our Tip of the Day:
Yesterday, we mentioned how to prepare your furbaby if you are leaving them to travel for the holidays. Today, we are starting a short series of tips on what to do if you are traveling with your furbaby. First and foremost, if you plan to take your furbaby with you on a trip this Christmas, or any time of the year, talk to your veterinarian. Discuss with them your furbaby's health and whether traveling is safe for them. Some furbabies, such as those who are geriatric or who are suffering from an illness, might not be good candidates for traveling, especially long distance. If you are in need of traveling with such a furbaby, though, have a detailed discussion with your veterinarian on what you must do to take all precautions to keep your furbaby as healthy and happy as possible during travels. In some cases, even for young and healthy kitties or pups, some form of sedation might be in their best interest for traveling. This is another detail that you must discuss with your veterinarian. It is always our furbaby's best interest that we must have in mind, so ask your veterinarian any and all questions you have regarding keeping your furbaby happy and healthy during travels.

Hmm, what you cats need is a separate selection of cat friendly, knock downable, whackable and chaseable decorations....... and if there isn't such decorations someone needs to invent them. I mean that is the reason for the festivities–isn't it?

"Is there anything better than a cozy Sunday?"
No. There is nothing better than a cosy Sunday. Or Monday. Or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday (mol).
And We think it's rather mean of your Humans to hang up the Chrissymouse decorations where you can't reach them. How is a kitty supposed to have any fun that way?
We have to agree, there should always be a tree for the cats so they can knock everything off the tree. Pumpkin tries to knock things off of our little tree but so far hasn't succeeded. Have a fine day.
What a cute selfie, Thimble. We don't understand...we thought ornaments were meant to be played with. ;)
Thimble, you look so sweet today - and the décor behind you looks good too!
your home looks sooo cozy and Thimble is precious
Thimble is a cutie. She does look disappointed that she can't bat at the ornaments though. Cute drawing and excellent tips. Some of my cats get gabapentin just to go to the vet.
It's a lovely picture. Very festive without being overwhelmingly 'in your face CHRISTMAS'
Merry Christmas everyone.
Your mom is so creative! We think it looks beautiful.
Hanging them from a garland is a brilliant idea. Maybe some year, if i’m feeling very inspired, i’ll do that.
So festive! But Thimble looks a little bummed that she can't touch those ornaments.
Gosh Thimble, seems that your humans there are WAY AHEAD of you kitties and have all the shiny stuff UP HIGH where you can't play with it. Well, you can still LOOK at it and enjoy it (not the same though is it!).
Hugs, Teddy
Thimble is so cute! In your doodle, you've got cats hanging out of all of the windows, especially one that's upside-down! That would be Da Boyz...
Cool selfie!
