Did you all have a fun and festive week? We sure hope so! Around here, there's been lots of Christmas tree climbing, endless Christmas music, Christmas movie marathons, Christmas tree climbing, a few more festive movies, and some more Christmas tree climbing. Luckily, there are still no fallen trees around here. It's literally a Christmas miracle.
Since we're on the topic of all things festive, how about we share with you our latest festive doodle? This one was inspired not only by our Christmas tree climbers, such as Eddy, but also by Thimble and her penchant for oh so innocently throwing things off of tabletops and counters.
Has Thimble ever thrown a full glass of milk off of a counter? Why, yes, she has. The other day, she even threw a decently large container filled with what once were wonderfully iced cupcakes onto the floor. That girl sure has a mean left hook. Look out, Santa, because you'll have to beat Thimble to your goods if you want them all in one piece.

Our Tip of the Day:
We seem to be repeating old tips these days. 'Tis the season, it would seem. That being said, over the next few days, we'll be repeating some Christmas safety tips that we gave last year. How about we start with that good ol' Christmas tree? To begin, if you put up a Christmas tree, make sure it is securely in place. This is especially important if you have a kitty or pup who enjoys climbing or otherwise giving the tree lots of attention. You can try putting the tree in a corner of a room, if that helps to keep it safe and upright against furbabies. Moreover, to be extra safe, you can find a way to anchor the tree to the floor, wall, or even a heavy, sturdy piece of furniture. There is also the option of weighing down the base of the tree, such as with weighted bags, as long as they are of a safe and secure sort. Another option, especially if your furbaby is overzealous in their love for the Christmas tree, is to block their access to it altogether, whether that be with baby gates, closed doors, or another means. Whatever it takes, if you put up a Christmas tree in a home with a tree-loving furbaby, do be sure to try and find a way to prevent a fallen tree and potential injuries.

Well thankfully, last year was Teddy's first Christmas with us and he was IN AWE of the Christmas tree and not interested in climbing on it or in it! He enjoyed being UNDER it napping. We hope that there aren't too many "happy accidents" around your house this Christmas though - kittens can truly be messy!

Awesome left hook indeed, Thimble! No tree here for me to climb. Mom and dad don't get a Christmas tree. I'm not sure I'd even try to climb it if they did have one. Enjoy your weekend!
Well we are not going to have a tree this year, because we guarantee that Pumpking would just love climbing it and knocking it over. Just have to have our Rudolphs. You all have a great weekend.

You certainly ave a creative houseful — they can create messes and work for you, among other things. Gotta love ‘em.
