1. Every Christmas, I _________.
2. The day after Christmas, I _________.
3. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and _________.
4. All I want for Christmas is _________.
I've been in a full-fledged festive spirit, and so I had plenty of fun filling these in myself.
1. Every Christmas, I make Nutter Butter Santa cookies.
(I feel like I gave an answer very similar to this last year. Of course, I can't find a photo of any Nutter Butter Santas I've made. Below I will add a photo from a cooking and baking website, though, since I most certainly did not create this Nutter Butter Santa recipe myself. I have been making Nutter Butter Santa cookies every Christmas since I was in high school, and I look forward to it every year. I also always make gingerbread cookies, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and usually a chocolate pudding pie. This year I also have some dough all whipped up for festive shortbread cookies.)

2. The day after Christmas, I feel the effects of the Christmas feasting.
(Is it some sort of law that you have to fill yourself to the brim with yummy goodness on Christmas? Because that seems to be what always happens. Then, the next day, I always feel it. I usually take off of work the day after Christmas, but due to some deadlines this year, I'll be heading back to work that day. I'll probably be something like a sloth, though, what with all shades of sugar coursing through my veins. But, at least I'll be a warm body. Hopefully.)

3. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all the creatures were stirring.
(Honestly, "not a creature was stirring" simply never happens at my house. My furbabies have even been a little extra excitable these days. That's not all that surprising, though. After all, they have Christmas trees to climb, gift wrapping to snoopervise, holiday baking to assist with, and all shades of festive fun in which to partake.)

4. All I want for Christmas is peace on earth.
(Too cliché? It's true, though, and I know it's a wish that many share. I wish all creatures on this earth could know peace, happiness, and joy. I wish every creature on this earth knew love and a warm home. Can't that be wrapped up and put under everyone's tree?)

Eddy wanted to show off her festive spirit today, too. She even planned for a photo shoot with her beloved Christmas tree. But, in true Eddy style, she just could not contain her excitement and simply could not sit still all that well. So, every shot was overcome with blur. Not all that surprising, really.
Wishing you a fun and festive Friday!

Our Festive Doodle of the Day:
***
Our Tip of the Day:
Yesterday we discussed unplugging Christmas lights and removing other potentially dangerous decor from your furbaby's reach in the event that they are not being supervised. Festive decor is not the only danger this time of year, though. As we all probably know, lots of snacks and treats come of the woodwork this time of year. What's more, a lot of these treats are not healthy for our kitties and pups. Chocolate, alcohol, fatty foods, and excess sugar and salt, just to name a couple, can all pose risks to the health of our furbabies. For this reason, if you need to leave your house or in any way leave your furbaby unattended, ensure that they do not have access to your Christmas goodies. This could relate to any number of situations. For example, keep in mind snack bowls, food being prepared or cooling on the kitchen counter, a full table on Christmas Day, and even dirty dishes in the sink or food in the trash bin. So, if your furbaby is going to be left alone and unsupervised, remove food from the counters and table, hide snack bowls, clear out the sink, and take out or hide the trash. Our kitties and pups might find some of our Christmas treats just as delicious as we find them, but that doesn't mean it's healthy for them to snack on them. So, especially in the event that you will not be home or available to monitor your kitty or pup, think ahead and remove all food from your furbaby's reach.

Peace on earth would be WONDERFUL.
I love the Peanut Nutter cookies...so cute.
Merry Christmas!!
Peace on earth is not a cliche, it is our truest Christmas wish. There's almost never "not a creature stirring" in our house, either.
Those cookies look so good!
Those cookies are so darn cute. That is a nice tradition. I love all your answers, especially #4. And we always have creatures stirring here too. Cute drawing and excellent tips too. I know my Millie loves to snoop in all bowls in the kitchen. Have a wonderful weekend! XO
Such a cute doodle; love the have a kitty-cat wreath!
We need to love Mother Nature and The Earth, plus ourselves and all the critters that share our world. We humans are smarter than we are allowing ourselves to be!
We agree with Peace on Earth.
Purrs xx

Love all your answers, but we both wished for the same thing on #4. Great minds and all.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
The nutter butter Christmas Santa idea is cute. Have a Merry, Jesus Filled Christmas.
I love Nutter Butter cookies and those Santa ones are so cute!
Yes, it is a law to fill yourself to the brim on both Thanksgiving and Christmas and to be a sloth afterwards. :)
The critters are always stirring here, too, and throwing, and knocking over, and chewing to pieces, and licking. We can't forget the licking, to the point that I feel like a lollipop most days!
I think your answer to #4 is a very nice wish. I wish it, too.
Blurry or not, Eddy is always adorable in the photos. :)
What a cute kitty wreath doodle!
The tip of the day is an excellent one.
Have a blessed weekend and a very Merry Christmas. :)
Sounds like there will loads of yummies at your house! I'm thankful that Mudpie is pretty quiet at night!
Our link is in. Something happened during the cropping part and it only took part of our picture and made it unclear but we joined.
Amen to peace on Earth. You need to remember to photograph those cookies this year. There will be a test. TW makes pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and chocolate fudge for Christmas.
It wouldn't be Christmas without Eddy in a tree!
WE also agree on the Peace on Earth. Best wish of all times. A very Merry Christmas to all of you.
