It's Mancat Monday, so here's the mancat in my life:
This is a picture of my boy Evan snuggling with the cozy blankie his gammy made for him for Christmas. Although you can't see it, the blankie has cute animals all over it, including pandas (one of my favorite animals!), owls, kangaroos, and turtles.
And, as this post's title suggests, I'm going to continue the Christmas festivities for a while longer. Christmas Day was only the First Day of Christmas, so the lovely holiday isn't anywhere near over yet! My family has always had the tradition of keeping all of our Christmas decorations up until after the Twelve Days of Christmas are over. We also always keep the Christmas music playing until then. I'll be doing the same this year.
What's more, I've decided that to further keep myself in the Christmas spirit, I'm going to create a piece of Christmasy art each of the Twelve Days of Christmas. You already saw the piece of art I created on the First Day of Christmas (starring my angel Rosie):
Then I created this piece on the Second Day of Christmas:
And yesterday, on the Third Day of Christmas, I created the piece that is now my new banner:
As it says, my furbabies and I want to extend our warm wishes to you and yours for a very merry Twelve Days of Christmas and a happy New Year!
Merry Fourth Day of Christmas!

What a cool tradition to keep Christmas going. We love your art!
Evan's new blanket looks very comfy! We also keep our decorations up for awhile ...and the holiday music playing as well. Love the idea of creating art each day.
I love your new banner. Your Angel Rosie and my Angel Lucy were similar except Lucy was dilute. How sad they both left us this year. We also keep everything up until Jan. 6th for the 3 Kings which is also my hubby's birthday.
We celebrate the 12 days too - the tree stays up all the while. Thanks for your comment on our blog about Jack. it has certainly been a tough year.

What a lucky boy you are, Evan! Love the 12 days of Christmas artwork so far!
Evan looks adorably snuggly! I like your new banner.
Aw, Evan, what a cute and snugly blankie you have! I love your new header! Your Christmas tradition is wonderful! Happy 4th day of Christmas!
I'm so glad to meet someone who enjoys extending Christmas for all long as possible just as I do! Your pictures are just amazing and I adore your new header!
I love your new banner! Reminds me of several scenes in my house with three dogs and four cats -- particularly when there's a squirrel outside or something interesting in on Bird TV. ;-)

that blankie looks as soft and fluffy as a cloud!!!! The Eastern Orthodox Christmas is actually January 7th (I used to work with a number of people who celebrate that), so I always keep my Christmas cards up at least through January 7th! Enjoy! xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
Evan is so darned adorable. :)
We love your family Christmas tradition! We're really enjoying your Christmas art, too.
