I clearly have a thing for tabbies. Not only is my girl Thimble a tabby, but so is my boy Evan, and so is my wild child Eddy. And you know what else? Even my little calico Tonks has tabby stripes!
See those stripes on Tonks's front arm, and perhaps even the stripes on her face? Oh, but don't mind the human fingers intruding on the shot. Tonks's auntie had to, yet again, hold her still for this photo. I'll see if I can get a far better shot of Tonks's tabby stripes. Wish me luck.
Anyway. It's all about the tabbies around here. Is it the same for you friends of ours? Is it all about tabbies in your home? Or all about torties? All about tuxies? What about calicoes? Black kitties? Orange kitties? This list could go on and on!
Even if it's not a Tabby Tuesday for you, we hope it's terrific nonetheless!

Our Doodle of the Day:
Today is our penultimate Christmas in July doodle. We decided to go patriotic for this one.

Our Tip of the Day:
All in all, if you want or need to keep an especially close watch on your pup or kitty, such as when you're away from home, there are ways to do this. You might wish to keep an eye on a new puppy or kitten, a sick or geriatric furbaby, a cat or dog with separation anxiety, or something else along those lines. In such cases, determine whether monitoring, such as when you're away from home, might be beneficial, and then research the best types of monitoring systems for your particular situation.

If Wally had his way, it would be all about the tabbies around here. :)
My Mom has always had tabbies - mostly gingers but not exclusively - and of course you just HAVE to know that we think Tonks has the best of several kitty types including tabbies....YAY FOR TABBIES!
Hugs, Teddy
The PO'M is a tabby, and you know how much I LURV him! I would love to have cameras to watch the kitties at home, but The Hubby would get all weird and "Big Brother-y"...lol!
Tabbies are wonderful! I think all your kitties should join the Tabby Cat Club. Joanie managed to get in because she has some stripes on her leg, she has a fake M she put on to get into the club too :) Of course, I love gingers, torties, etc- all cats.
That is a great drawing. Excellent tip too, I already told my niece I want to buy her baby monitors when she is done with them.
We’ve had kitties of almost every kind and color. To us, they are all beautiful.
You know we're all about torties but your tabbies are pure purrfection!!! I love Tonks's little baby stripes!
Another adorable doodle. With a total of 19 cats over the past 30+ years, every kind and type of kitty have lived with our humans. Check out The Felines page on our blog to see the variety. Tonks sure is a cutie pie. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
We love tabbies! Of course, we love our little housepanthers, too. Aw, heck, we love all cats. :)
That's a great doodle. As for monitoring our cats, we'd do so just to see what the heck they do when we are at work. MOL!
We has two tabbies, but we has also had two tone kitties (Angelique, and angels Maurice and Elvira) and a tortie (Jezebel).
