1. When this pandemic is over, I _________.
2. I have zero interest in _________.
3. I always look forward to _________.
4. _________ is the bane of my existence.
My answer are below in bold, along with my unnecessarily long explanations.
1. When this pandemic is over, I hope grocery shopping becomes less of a nightmare.
(The thought of having to go grocery shopping these days makes me cringe. Just one of the reasons for this is because the shelves are so barren these days. I've learned that going after work in the evening means the majority of the shelves will be empty. So, I started going insanely early on Sunday mornings, because that's when my favorite grocery store stocks the shelves. Even then, usually at least half the stuff I need is gone. I thought that by now things would have started to balance back out and the grocery store shelves wouldn't be too picked over every single time, but I have been proven wrong in that fact time and time again. Is this still happening where you live? I really shouldn't complain, because in the grand scheme of things I don't have it that bad.)
2. I have zero interest in going out on the town.
(I've mentioned this before. I'm a major homebody. I have no interest in parties, happy hour, or any sort of thing like that. Every time I see any sort of party scene in a movie or TV show, I have to wonder what the appeal is. I never once attended a true party when I was in school, not even college, because I literally cannot find even an ounce of interest in that type of life. I'll happily choose to stay home and cuddle on the couch with my furbabies, thank you very much.)
3. I always look forward to getting home to my furbabies
(Whether I'm at work, running errands, or even at a family reunion, I have to admit that deep down I usually want nothing more than to get home to my kitties and pup. The only place I really don't mind going for long is my parents' house. Not only do they have 12 cats for me to cuddle, but they also live just down the street from me and so I can easily check on my furbabies. I can actually check on my furbabies no matter where I am since I have security cameras in my house that are linked to my cellphone. But, nothing beats being physically at home with my furbabies, and that's pretty much always where I want to be.)
4. Grocery shopping is the bane of my existence.
(See #1 above. I dislike shopping even on a good day, but during this pandemic, grocery shopping more or less sucks the life and soul out of me. That's quite melodramatic, but perhaps you get what I'm saying. Sometimes I have to visit multiple stores just to get my necessities, because the shelves in stores grow bare so quickly these days. Again, though, I shouldn't complain. I'm healthy and have food on my table and a roof over my head, so I should just suck it up and count my blessings.)

What does Eddy have in store for you all today? Well, she has more window views. She also has more refusals to look at the camera. And, she has more bloopers. What's new?
Even though you can't see her cute face, and even though she's a blurry girl as usual, Eddy hopes you all enjoyed seeing her today!
Happy Friday to all!

Flashback Doodle of the Day
Today's flashback doodle takes you to a cozy chemistry lab I scribbled up last year. I don't know why this landed in my sketchbook, but it sure did. I do work in a chemistry lab, but my lab looks nothing like this.

Tip of the Day
Today's tip was inspired by the above doodle. I work in a chemistry lab, and in the past I worked at a cat clinic as well as at a large animal clinic. These types of work places have the potential of leaving even tiny particles of certain chemicals or diseases on my person, such as on my clothing. I have always tried to keep this in mind in order to ensure that I don't bring anything potentially dangerous home to the kitties or pups in my life. That is where today's tip comes in. If you have pets and work at any location that would bring you into contact with potentially hazardous chemicals, diseases that can be passed from human to animals, diseases that affect only cats and dogs, or anything of this sort, do what you can to prevent yourself from posing any sort of risk to your pets when you arrive home. Of course, begin with washing your hands before going home to your cats and dogs. Depending on your job or the type of day you had, you might also need to consider changing clothes or even showering before coming home, or at least before interacting with your kitties and pups. It might also be good to take off your shoes and clean them before taking them into your home. You might also need to consider sanitizing your purse or even a watch or other jewelry you wore to work. All in all, consider if your job poses any potential risk to your cat or dog, and then do what you can to prevent bringing any of those risks home to your furbabies.

Great filling in......I must admit at first I dreaded going to the grocery because I knew it would be a challenge getting FOOD and SUPPLIES all of which were in short supply. Gradually it's gotten so much better. Everything I need is finally THERE. I go the minute the store opens on a Sunday morning because I have the entire place to myself! Hubby and I are homebodies too so staying at home is no problem for us - and I know Teddy is happy about that because he gets to go outside more often!
Hugs, Pam
Have never enjoyed grocery shopping...nor cooking...
I am careful with germs and things shared between the outside cats and the inside ones, which is why Sweetie was sequestered until the vet gave the all clear.
I've tried to institute a 'no shoes in the house' rule, but The Hubby won't follow that rule! Shoes can pick up stuff by just walking in a neighbor's yard!
Great fill ins. I'm not a big fan of grocery shopping either. I love the kitty pics! Have a great weekend!
Great fill-ins. Absolutely loathe shopping. I've been ordering groceries online.
Nice pics and doodle as usual!
The first six weeks things were pretty scarce but it's almost back to normal here. You can actually find toilet paper and bleach again. It was months that you couldn't find that.
Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. I always enjoy doing them each week.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
There must be something really interesting outside that has Eddy's undivided attention!
I love your answers I know exactly what you mean about not being able to find grocery items. One thing impossible to find is rice-a-roni. I am exactly like you with wanting to be home with my furbabies. Eddy is a cutie- I can see her sweet little reflection in the glass. Nice drawing and excellent tips too. My niece used to bring home fleas when she worked at a vet clinic. Have a wonderful weekend. XO
Bloop away, Eddy! I'm unusual in that I don't typically mind grocery shopping, although lately it's just not the same. For that matter, no shopping is what it used to be!
It’s always great to see Eddy.
Does your favorite store only restock on Sunday? It might be better, if they are restocking every day or most days, to go at opening on Saturday, before the weekend rush.
Of course I enjoy seeing Eddy. The thing about the empty store shelves is that a lot of the major brands have stopped making some of their lesser items which just happen to be our favorites. Dunno if they'll start again after the pandemic is over if it does get over. Of course there's also those items like cleaning products that are in short supply. TW can't find paper towels but our supermarket has 2 aisles of toilet paper. Go figure.
