1. My latest obsession is _________.
2. I am so over _________.
3. I'm skilled at _________.
4. I'm not very good at _________.
My answers are below in bold.
1. My latest obsession is the show Parks and Recreation.
(Has anyone seen this show? It's a comedy that first aired quite a few years ago. Though I enjoy the occasional comedy show, I'm admittedly kind of picky when it comes to what will make me laugh. I never thought I'd enjoy the show Parks and Recreation, and I remember even seeing a clip of an episode a few years ago and not being impressed. I was at my parents' house the other day, though, and they had this show on. I ended up watching a number of episodes with them and really enjoyed it, and now I've made it through almost all 7 seasons on Netflix. What's more, there have been quite a few episodes involving animals, with one of the regulars being a 3-legged dog named Champion.)
2. I am so over 2020.
(This year is a bust. Is it 2021 yet? Then again, my favorite part of the year is the final quarter of the year, and that has yet to occur. I don't want to miss out on Halloween or Christmas, so hopefully they'll help redeem 2020. Hopefully.)
3. I'm skilled at caring for cats.
(This certainly isn't to say I'm perfect. I'm not. But, I love cats and have shared my life with them since I was a small child. I try to educate myself and do whatever else it takes to ensure I'm doing the best for my cats, and for all cats I meet.)
4. I'm not very good at closing Ziploc bags.
(I realize this is a strangely specific answer, but it's something that has come to light a lot recently. I use Ziploc bags a lot both at home and at my work. I don't know what is wrong with me, but I often struggle to line those suckers up so that they'll close properly. I usually ultimately succeed, but the struggle is real and long sometimes. My sister laughs at me over this.)

Your Eddy fix for today comes in the form of some flashback. More specifically, I recently saw some old photos all starring Eddy's snaggletooth. I love her snaggletooth, so of course I wanted to reshare these.
Eddy and all of us here hope you have a fantastic Friday!

Flashback Doodle of the Day
I was trying to decide which doodle from the past to share and found this one. I actually nearly forgot I doodled this up.

Tip of the Day
On many occasions, we've mentioned the potential toxicity of a number of plants. We've mentioned this when it comes to your garden, neighbors' gardens, and bouquets of flowers that might find their way into your house. Today's tip is to also not forgot about wildflowers. If you're going on a walk or hike with your pet and find yourself in a field, in a park, or anywhere that wildflowers grow, keep in mind that even some of these can be dangerous to cats and dogs. We may not always think much of wildflowers growing amongst grass in fields, forests, and the like, but we shouldn't ignore them when with our furbabies. Wildflower toxicity of course depends on where you are and which flowers are nearby. To be on the safe side, don't just keep your kitty or pup from getting into flowers in gardens and the like, but also keep them from chewing on and ingesting random wildflowers that you find popped up here, there, and everywhere.

I haven't seen Parks and Recreation. I should add that to my list of shows to watch. I'm pretty much over 2020 too.
Hope you have a great weekend!
Aww, Eddy...you are adorbs!
For a long time, I worried about plants in the garden and neighborhood that might be toxic to my ferals, but they haven't shown any interest in eating anything but long blades of grass...and we do not put poison anywhere in our yard. But the inside cats...they'll taste-test everything...so we are vigilant.
Great answers, I had the same for #3. And I have some trouble with those bags too :)
I am hoping Halloween and Christmas are not ruined by the virus too. My hubby and I already decided no big Christmas Eve party unless there is a vaccine by then. Eddy is such a cutie, these are nice shots of her. I love this drawing, make me want to sing The Sound of Music.
Excellent tips too. Have a wonderful weekend. XO
Aw....Eddy! Such a sweetheart! Great answers! You are a kind caregiver to the cats! :-) Happy weekend! HUGS
OH heck, we love Parks and Rec! Before she married, our Hannah girl was like April, hahaha so dark and despairing and terribly ornery saying whatever she really thought! She does not like us comparing her to April these days. Because she is now a happy homemaker! Ron is and always will be my favorite character on the show. HaHaHa!
Our HuMom got frustrated with Ziploc bags but Hefty bags have real zippers so you might want to try them.
She's SO adorable! I get frustrated with ziplock bags too.
Zip style bags can be tricky to line up, it is sometimes worth it to get the ones with the tab that does it for you.
Love Eddy!
Your doodle reminds me of The Sound of Music. Never watched that show. Pop can't close Ziploc bags; TW can't open them. She tries to get the zipper ones but they're never on sale.Yes, Eddy's snaggletooth is so cool.
Loved your answers!
