Foggy is a cuddly boy, both with humans and with other cats. Josie loves cuddling other cats, especially Foggy, but she's not as fond of human cuddles. What do all of you furry friends of ours think of cuddling? Do you like cuddling humans? Do you like cuddling other cats?

Did you know?
Did you know that the socialization period for cats is from about 2 weeks to 7 or 8 weeks of age? Cats who spend a lot of time interacting with humans at that young stage in their life are more likely to be cuddly with or otherwise happy to be around humans. Cats who do not spend much time with humans around the age of 2 weeks to 7 or 8 weeks are less likely to enjoy close interactions with humans. Of course, this can also depend on an individual cat's personality, on socialization attempts when they are older, and so on and so forth. All in all, though, when adopting or overall living with a cat, keep in mind that all cats are different, and all of them have their personal preference for how they interact with humans. Their desire to cuddle and to sit on laps might very well depend on how much socialization they had as a young kitten, as well as simply on their individual personality.

What a couple of cuties they are! I love it when the kitties snuggle, but I don't have much luck getting them to snuggle with me, only sometimes and then I am so thrilled!

Cuddling is fine, in cool weather. When it's this hot, we all prefer our own side of the bed/couch/etc.
