Toesies Tuesday

My boy Evan wanted to show off his special little toesies on this Tuesday.
This is a close up of the toesies on one of Evan's paralyzed hind legs. More often than not, when he moves around or sits or lies down (so, pretty much all the time), his back toesies are turned upwards as seen above. That means I get to see those cute pink paw pads all the time!

We're wishing everybuddy a happy Tuesday!

I didn't realize that Evan's hind legs are paralized. How does he get around?? That must be hard on him and you.

We love Evan's pink jellybean toes. :)

Sorry we haven't been visiting lately. Thank you for your kindness in the wake of Moosey’s passing. He was a very special boy, and we love and miss him so much. The outpouring of love and support by our friends has been such an encouragement during this difficult time.

What cute little toes Evan has ...the expression on his face is so adorable! I am doing a series of special needs adoptions (I know you read the first post on Monday). Maybe we could feature Evan in a future post? You can email me if you are interested - thedailypip(at)gmail(dot)com.

Thanks for visiting us, dear friend!

Evan's hind limbs have been paralyzed since he was roughly six weeks of age. (Long story short, he was a barn kitty paralyzed during a coyote attack, and I adopted him soon after.) He's a strong boy with going on three years of experience as a paraplegic, and he gets around really well by pulling himself with his front legs. With the help of strategically placed stools, he can even get onto couches and beds all by himself! Evan amazes me every day, and I am one proud momma.

Purrs, and Merry Christmas!
