A Gaggle of Selfies

It's time for the always anticipated Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by our good friends over at The Cat on My Head.

Sometimes, all of this human lady's furbabies surprise her and all decide to cooperate for the weekly selfies. And this is one of those weeks!

So, without further ado, here are the selfies of this bunch of four-legged furballs:

The nose knows best, or so Astrid says.

In his selfie, Evan wanted to show off his chameleon skills. He's been known to get out of chores by disappearing against floors and walls that match his fur.

 Thimble's favorite: glamor shot!

Look! Even Eddy sat still long enough to take a selfie! She wanted to make sure to show off her best Elvis snarl, lovely tooth and all. Apparently doing so upside was the best option.

Before we go check out all of our furiends' selfies, our last piece of business is today's drawing for JNW's Halloween Challenge. Today's prompt is night, and so we went with this batty piece:

This is a simple one, but what can I say? I love me some window art.

We hope everybuddy has a stupendous Sunday!

Our Tip of the Day:
As I'm sure you all know, cats are technically a nocturnal species. And as I'm sure you all also know, our kitties love gazing out those beloved windows of theirs. That being said, especially for those kitties who tend to show the tendency to grow especially active or bored at night, perhaps consider keeping the curtains or blinds of at least one window cracked at night, for your kitty's viewing pleasure. If possible, make it a window where the night life outside might be most prevalent. Depending on where you live, your kitty might be able to catch sight of possums, raccoons, foxes, other neighborhood cats, or even cars or other passersby. Your kitty, being the nocturnal furbaby it is, might very well enjoy and even benefit from this nighttime window view

Astrid, good job on the nose selfie. Evan, I didn't know you have such mad chameleon skills! Thimble, I definitely know you're a glamour girl. Eddy, I always enjoy your Elvis impersonations. Pierrot loves to be upside down too. Have a great day, guys!

Everyone took a great selfie. Nice to see the front of Astrid's nose for a change, we usually get a side view. I love the window art drawing. Great tip too, whenever we have our bedroom window open at night it is like grand central station and we don't get any sleep.

You all have taken great selfies. We have bats here and I like to watch them. When I was younger I would try to catch them.

Whoa! You kitties have chores???!!! TW always keeps the blinds in both her room and the living room open a bit at night but still I have to walk behind them and make a racket. We have vertical blinds.

Your kitties have chores?

I wish my boys would cooperate when I try to get pix of them. They used to but these days they do everything they can to avoid the flashy box.

Excellent selfies by all! We have to admit that Eddy's upside down Elvis snarl is our favorite. :)

Nice tip about window visitors at night. Years ago, a family of raccoons would visit my 2nd floor windows, and my cat at the time, Graphite, would watch with amazement and wonder.
