Thimble Thursday: The Chin

Thimble recently realized that there was a part of her she had never really shown off all that well here to her furiends. Get your minds out of the gutter, everybuddy. She's referring to her chin

Isn't it adorable? We may be a bit biased, but both Thimble and I think it's just purrfect. Here, have a closer look:

Our Tip of the Day:

Did you know that many cats like having their chin rubbed in large part because that is simply an area they cannot reach during their own grooming sessions? So, it feels good when their human scratches that itch for them. They also like it because there are scent glands there, and when you rub their chin you're marking yourself with their scent, which they don't mind one bit. So, if your kitty likes a chin rub, please indulge them in that. Do remember, though, that there are whiskers down there as well, which can be sensitive to too much touch. But, as long as you're careful, feel free to rub that cute kitty chin!
