Our Tip of the Day:
Given the abnormally warm temperatures these days, you may or may not still see the occasional mosquito. So, how about a little tip on keeping those mosquitoes away from your yard and furbabies? There are certain plants that are believed to naturally deter those little blood suckers, many of which are easy enough to grow in your very own yard. What's even better is that there are plenty such plants that are perfectly safe for your furbabies to be around. One plant believed to deter mosquitoes is catnip. That's pretty great, considering your kitty will love you for it! Other plants that are said to deter mosquitoes include basil, rosemary, and peppermint. So, if you have trouble with an unwelcome mosquito population in the warm months, try planting some of these in your garden. If nothing else, your furbaby will think you for the nip, and you can enjoy the rest.

We're not in any hurry for cold weather! It's nice right now, cool nights and warm days.
Thimble is a beautiful girl. No sun today, but we enjoy it when we have it. Planting catnip is a win/win- no mosquitoes and lots of kitty fun.
We have a lemon plant against mosquitoes in the house and lots of catnip in the garden..I found out, that the more I am on Nip the more they grow back...MOL :D You're looking very beautiful in the Sun, Thimble. I have had some sun too in the house today :) Pawkisses for a Happy Thankful Day :) <3
I enjoyed sun puddles and warm weather yesterday, but today is dull and cold so I am guarding the wood burner again.
We've actually been pretty cloudy the past few days...enjoy that sweet sunshine while it lasts!
We actually are having some pretty great autumn weather here. Today was cool, but sunny.
It's warm in SC, too. It's supposed to cool off this weekend.
Always thankful fur a warm sunpuddle. Furry nice today here too. Gotta find them sun puddles afore they get chased away by Mr. Brrrrr it's Cold.
