Anyway, if nothing else, it's at least time for all those holiday arts and craft fairs to start up. And that is exactly where I'll be today, as this is indeed one of my arts and craft fair weekends. This can make for some serious hustling and bustling, but it's also perfectly worth it. I sure do love the fun and creative and of course festive atmosphere of these events. What's more, I enjoy donating proceeds from my art sales to various animal shelters and rescues, and any chance to build up more donation revenue is a major plus.
Of course, I can't take all the credit for the arts and crafts I have to offer at these fairs. You know that scene in Cinderella, where the adorable little mice and birds are singing their little work song while making that perfect dress for their titular lady friend? Art time here at my house is a tad bit like that. Well, except for the fact that it looks more like this:
I have so many eager assistants during my daily arts and craft time, as this drawing for Athena's Caturday Art blog hop is meant to demonstrate. Honestly, art time simply wouldn't be complete without a few spills and one or two games of grabby paws. I'm pretty sure my kitties have themselves a nice little lair overflowing with pens and markers somewhere in this house. It's probably right next door to where the laundry gremlin hoards my socks.

In Thursday's post I mentioned a fundraising challenge in which my mom is participating, to benefit our local and beloved animal rescue group Hospice Hearts. I soon enough was made aware by some of our pawesome pals that, when they tried to make a donation, the fundraising site denied them the ability to do so. I just wanted to let anyone interested now know, therefore, that said glitch has been fixed and the fundraiser is back to full function again. Should you wish to donate, please click here.
And don't forget, if you make a donation and are interested, please email me your address and I will mail you a token of gratitude. (My email is fourleggedfurballs@gmail.com.) You can choose a bookmark, ornament, or refrigerator magnet made by me. Each one is made with lots of love and a fair amount of furry assistance (see above for illustrative detail).
Again, though, please feel no pressure or obligation to donate. Purrs, barks, and prayers can be just as useful and so very appreciated, by all furbabies awaiting their forever homes!
Thank you to all of you, all of our incredible furiends and friends out there, for being the amazing folk that you are!

Happy Caturday to everybuddy!

Our Tip of the Day:Please keep in mind that some artsy and crafty and other similar items commonly found in our homes can be toxic or otherwise dangerous to our furbabies. For example, glue, such as that known as Gorilla Glue, could pose a true threat to your cat or dog's health. Not only can such glues cause gastrointestinal irritation, but they can also expand after being ingested by a furbaby, leading to blockages and other serious issues. Of course, glue is not the only dangerous arts and craft item, though, as tape and certain types of paints and inks could also pose potential threats. Even crafty items such as string and ribbon and popsicle sticks could be dangerous to an overly curious furbaby. Therefore, when doing any hobbies such as arts and crafts, please always be cognizant of what materials are out and available to your furbabies. If there is any concern at all for potential danger, please remove the items of concern, or keep your furbaby away from that area altogether. If you think your furbaby might have ingested or in any way been exposed to a danger, please do not hesitate to consult a veterinarian.

Goodness, that drawing is so good. I bet those kitties are such a big help. You all have a great day.
I love your drawing. This is why I craft in the dining room- a no cat zone. They stand outside the door and meow that they want to help, but I am a meanie and won't let them. I hope your sales go well, I wouldn't be surprised if you completely sold out.
What a lovely drawing!
You really are talented and it's lovely of you to donate to the animals.
Purrs xx

As always, your drawing is lovely.
That is too adorable! I wish I was a crafty person...it looks like so much fun. I ran into trouble when I tried to donate so I'll be sure to try again :)
The drawing of your assistants also reminds us of Santa's elves helping in the workshop. We suggest looking under the fridge and stove for all those missing drawing supplies. MOL. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty may, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
HAH! TW doesn't use glue often but when she done, I'm right there trying to smell it while she fights to get away from me. That drawing is so cute and creative. Love the looks on their faces and Eddie hanging from the ceiling, always in motion.
Good advice about fur babies and arts and crafts for some reason Yin is obsessed with glue. Mommy has to keep her in another room when she does decoupage.
We love the picture you created.
we loves the drawing and all the mischief in it... watch out fur that glue guys... i hope somemommy caught the glue afore it spilled on the floor!
I certainly wish I were able to donate but our financial situation is rather dire right now so I am unable to do so. I am excited because this year Chanukah and Christmas are together, it's always a good thing. I am one who always frequents Craft Fairs...I just love them catchatwithcarenandcody
You do have some eager "help" there. We would be whapping stuff off of the table as fast as we could. :)
Your artwork is so expressive...MOL :D Pawkisses for a Colorful Day :) <3
We commend you on sharing your amazing craft to the good of the world. We are very into sharing art supplies with humans if we can sneak up on them so if you want any more help, just write to us Our human who we call "Crafty Carol" also likes to donate artwork to craft fairs. This is such a beautiful time of year, glad you all are enjoying it!
