Thankful Thimble Thursday

Thimble is here today with more of her model shots from our recent black and white photo shoot. Thimble, of course, spent a large portion of this photo shoot in her beloved library.

She didn't spend her time reading, though. No, not this time. Rather, Thimble was on guard duty.

Thimble is always on the lookout to make sure that nothing is amiss in her beloved library. After all, she has to make sure nobuddy puts their grimy paws on her books!

She'll look high and low, in every corner, behind every shelf, to make sure there are no lurkers waiting to wreak havoc on her books.

Anybuddy trying to sneak up beneath the desk? No? Good. It looks like we're all clear. No trespassers, no intruders, no silly boy cats. Whew.

Thimble is so thankful for her beloved library, for the desk from which she reigns over her library, for her books that all smell perfectly like her cheeks and chin, and of course for her favorite library window and its glorious sun puddles! Thimble's so thankful, she's entering this to Brian's Thankful Thurssday Blog Hop.

Of course, Thimble and all of us here are thankful for all of our blessings, including friends like you!

Have a lovely Thursday!

Our Tip of the Day:
Today, we're continuing our tips on how to pet-proof your yard and garden. If need be, such as if your furbaby is a garden digger, consider having a designated area in the yard specifically designed for your furbaby and their enjoyment. This could be a separated area of the yard, perhaps even an enclosure or gated-in region. Especially if your pup, or even your kitty, is a digger or tends to get bored easily, perhaps even consider setting up a sandbox or other similar feature for them to play in. Dogs who like to dig could benefit from their very own sandbox, and the yard and grass could benefit as well. Balls or other toys could be placed in the sandbox, to entice your furbaby and to give them something to bury and play with. Some furbabies might even enjoy a nice snooze outside in the sand. Of course, do be careful if outdoor kitties start trying to use the sandbox as a litter box! Other ideas for keeping your furbaby in a safe area of the yard, such as away from the garden or away from a hot grill or fire pit, include installing a long leash that anchors into the ground, so that your furbaby can roam and play, but not too far or towards danger. There is also the option of putting down stones or other paths, and teaching your furbaby to stay on those rather than straying off into the garden or other potentially dangerous areas. Our yards can have their hazards for furbabies, but that doesn't mean they can't live in harmony!

Thimble is such a cutie. I love that she treasures her books and guards them. Very cute drawing too. And that is a great tip to have a sand box for your pups, I think cats would find a different use for it :)
