Two-Tone Tuesday

Model Thimble of course snapped plenty of pics during our recent black and white photo shoot. That's probably why she gets two of her very own posts in this black and white week of ours. On top of her usual Thimble Thursday, you get to see her adorable face today!

Seriously. I know I'm maybe a bit biased, but is this girl not just the cutest bundle of cuteness that cuteness ever created?

There's nothing like a black, white, and gray kitty in all shades of, well, black, white, and gray.

Look at those whiskers! Can you guess what color they are? If you guessed black and white, you're right!

Thimble wants to know if any of her furiends have two-tone whiskers like her? So, what color are your whiskers?

And, of course, a happy Tuesday to everybuddy!

Our Tip of the Day:
Yesterday we discussed being aware of your furbaby's safety around potentially hazardous plants and insects springing up this time of year. Today, we're giving a reminder to also be careful around the less natural dangers that arise as spring blossoms. When outside with your pup or kitty, always be cognizant of the fact that some areas may have been treated with chemicals such as weed killers and pesticides. Try to avoid using such chemicals in your yard and around your home, or ensure that any treated areas are kept off limits to your pups and kitties. Be especially careful when you are away from home and in areas with which you are not familiar, including strangers' yards and public parks, as you do not know what types of chemicals may have been used in such places. Many weed killers and pesticides are dangerous to animals, potentially affecting their intestinal tract, respiratory system, the mucosal membranes of the eyes and nose, or the skin. For such reasons, try not to let your furbaby chew on, eat, or root around in grass or gardens, especially ones with which you are not familiar. After a stroll outside, you might even consider wiping off your furbaby's paws, as well as your shoes, to ensure that no unknown chemicals are lingering and entering the home.

You have such a sweet little face Thimble. Very cute art too. And an excellent tip for those that go outside, there are so many dangers.

Beautiful whiskers, Thimble. Angel has all white except for one wild whisker that is black! The boys have all white.

Thimble, you are indeed a beautiful girl, and these photos accentuate your beauty! I like Mom's drawing of you in the red dress and heels, too--you look very chic! :-)

You're definitely a cute bundle of cuteness, Thimble! Mudpie has both black and white whiskers (mostly black) but I've never seen two colors on the same whisker!
