Fun Interviews and Fill-Ins!

We hope everybuddy has had a fantastic week, and that you have an even more fantastic Friday! What makes it especially fantastic for us is that we were interviewed by the Funny Farmer Felines, and you can read that interview today over at Mousebreath!

Another good thing about today? The Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by our friends over at 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader!

We really liked the looks of the fill-ins our hosts created for us this week.

1. My favorite line from a film is _________.
2. Other than blogs, a website I visit often is _________.
3. When I feel down, I _________.
4. If I could _________, I would _________.

Aren't those great? I don't know how great my answers are, but I sure enjoyed mulling these over.

1. My favorite line from a film is, "Just keep swimming."
(I have a lot of favorite movie quotes, and even more favorite book quotes. But, this is the one that jumped into my head for today. It's from Finding Nemo. The message is simple, but also perfectly profound.)

2. Other than blogs, a website I visit often is Pinterest.
(I didn't jump on the Pinterest bandwagon until just a few months ago. I didn't think I'd like it all that much, but I was wrong. I love scrolling through Pinterest, filling up my boards of cute kitties and cute puppies, finding new recipes, arts and craft ideas, discovering new books to read, and so on and so forth.)

3. When I feel down, I cuddle a furbaby.
(Or two, or three, or four. For me, furbabies are just about the best medicine there is.)

4. If I could find a forever home for all cats and dogs, I would do it in a heartbeat.
(I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.)

So, who knows what's up next? If you guessed Eddy, you're right!

The active little lady sat still just long enough to let me snap a couple of shots of her in a state of rest. It didn't last long, and I anticipated that, so there was no time for changing any camera settings for much of a decent shot. But, when it comes to Eddy, if you get a shot, you just take it. Beggars can't be choosers.

In case you're wondering what that white thing is on the floor in front of her, it's one of Evan's tufts, a product of a short grooming session. Eddy thought it made a great toy.

Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Our Doodle of the Day:

***
Our Tip of the Day:
While seasonal shedding and even the occasional lost hair tuft are normal in our furbabies, excessive hair loss, such as in the form of large clumps of hair, could be a sign of something more serious. Of course, parasites such as fleas can cause hair loss, as can the fungal infection known as ringworm. Allergies to food or other products can also lead to a balding kitty or pup. The list doesn't end there, though, as poor nutrition and even certain diseases, such as those of the thyroid, could cause your furbaby to lose hair in an abnormal abundance. A cat or dog's coat is often one of the first things to be neglected in the case that their body is fighting an ailment, and so symptoms such as hair loss, dull fur, and feathered fur from dehydration can often be seen in the case of an unwell furbaby. For such reasons, always monitor the state of your furbaby's coat. Is there an abnormal abundance of shedding? Is their fur clumping, or are they losing an excessive amount of tufts? Is the fur dull, dry, or oily? If you notice any such changes, do be sure to note them to your veterinarian.

Eddy, you're looking great today!

We enjoyed your fill in answers. Cuddling a cat is always a good thing, whether you feel down or not. :)

I can't wait to read your Mousebreath interview, I will head over to there as soon as I comment here. Thank you for these wonderful fill-in answers. That is a great quote, I like the Nemo movie. Sounds like we look at the same things on Pinterest, I also love to look up home improvement ideas and dream. Furbabies are better than therpay, but therapy is probably cheaper :) And our answers for #4 were similar.
I love these photos of Eddy, she is a beautiful girl. Cute drawing too. And excellent tips. I know Prancie pulls out her belly fur from food allergies when she gets into the wrong food. Have a great weekend!

Love the interview! I agree about cuddling kitties when one feels bad - they truly do fix everything - even when they bite because they've had enough. With Ellie, it's been crazy the past week and she lets me cuddle her just about every time (Bear gives us a dirty look ... he probably thinks she's a suck up). Love the pictures of beautiful Eddy!

Great answers! For some reason Pinterest is the one social media channel I can't get into. We're off to Mousebreath!

Hi Eddy. Nice answers to the fill-ins. I usually fill them in in the comments but today I did it on my blog. I hope I did them right.

Pinterest is great and very inspiring! When I first started visiting it, I would be there for hours on end, like some folks are with Facebook. Now, I go there on occasion and have learned to stop myself before I get totally lost and realize I've been sitting here for 8 hours or something. :)

Furbabies are great medicine.

The Eddy pics are great and I love your little snaggle-tooth kitty painting. :)

Have a blessed weekend.
