Today's
Caturday Art Blog Hop doodle is also another alphabetical installment of the
A to Z Challenge.
Today we're at the letter J. We're of course still in the midst of our theme of "A Day at Rosie's Restaurant", and for this meal Rosie has for you some jerk chicken.
Jerk chicken is a spicy meal with Jamaican origins. Rosie is serving it with rice on the side. She also prepared some iced tea, just in case you need a little help washing down this spicy dish. If you're into chicken and some spice, help yourself!
Happy weekend!

Tip of the Day
Let's talk about spicy foods today. Some humans out there are big fans of spicy hot meals. Should you ever let your kitty or pup have a taste of your spicy food, though? The most simple, safest answer is no. Spicy foods are spicy because of, well, spices. A lot of such spices can cause gastrointestinal distress if eaten by a cat or dog. A kitty or pup might experience vomiting and diarrhea, for example, if they eat food heavy on the spice. In addition, depending on the type or level of spice in the food, it could lead to a burning sensation in a cat or dog's mouth, as well as increased thirst. The aforementioned symptoms are not something a cat or dog should experience from food. So, keep that spicy food away from your furbabies, just as you should do with any questionable human food.

Yes, i like spice, and of course we don’t give that to the pets. We had a cat once who would steal hot tamales. No matter what, we could not keep him out of them, he would go nuts. He didn’t like any other spicy food, just tamales, and finally i just quit having them except maybe in a restaurant.
Now that i’m a veggie eater, would Rosie consider making jerk tofu? ;)
Thanks for the fun doodles and great reminders of how to keep our fur family healthy and safe.
Mom's a bigger spice fan than dad, but I don't get any human food, spicy or otherwise. Have a great weekend!
The chicken sounds lovely. If it's not too spicy I'll be over to give it a try ;)

You blew it, Rosie! I would have served it with Jasmine tea which also begins with the letter J. Lemme have a plate of that jerky chicken.
Sweet doodle!
Jerk chicken is the purrfect dish!
We sure do love jerk chicken here. Yum!
Very cute drawing. Excellent tips too.
Ooh that sounds yummy!
It sounds furry nice - but We bet that if Mummy were to cook something like that, She would be MEAN and not share it with Us.
On my way, Rosie...but don't tell Granny😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Hoppy Easter to all of you. Stay Safe Healthy and always Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
