Caturday Catman Art

It's Caturday, and that means Caturday Art, hosted by our furiend Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty!

It's been a few weeks since I posted a new drawing in the goofy little series I'm creating for the furbabies in my life. So far I've shared with you my sweet angel Rosie as a kitty pirate, pup Astrid as Dogzilla, my special boy Evan as a mercat, my little lady Thimble as RoboKitty, active Eddy as a wall-climber, furry Toby as a box troll cave monster, and big boy Trappe as a juggernaut. (If you haven't seen these and would like to, you can find them, as well as other various art of mine, displayed on my art page.)

And so now, today, I present to you my own personal Batman, otherwise known as Catman:

(If this looks familiar, it's because this is very similar to the Valentine I created for this little guy.)

This piece portrays Thimble's brother Talon as the superhero he is. My parents adopted Talon, but he will always be my little hero. He earned that title as a tiny little kitten, and only in part because of his handsome black mask. Just a couple of his superhero skills include the apparent ability to fly and teleport.

Wishing all of our furiends the happiest of Caturdays!

Our Tip of the Day:
Need to make your home safer for your kitty or puppy? Never underestimate the power of baby-proofing tools. For example, you can use child-proof locks on cabinets to keep prying paws from gaining entry to dangerous locations beneath sinks. And you can use baby gates to keep furbabies out of certain rooms, such as out of the kitchen while you are baking or using potentially dangerous cleaners. Even child-proof outlet covers are not a bad idea if you have furbabies. Whether your baby is four-legged or two-legged, baby-proofing is never a bad idea!

Oh Talon, you are so very cute. What a great drawing. You do such a good job at getting the expression on their faces. And what a great looking cat with that black face. You all have a great week end.

Hello Cat Man, It's me Joey the Nike Cat, or Super Joey since I am not really a Nike Spokecat. Maybe we can go heroing together and search fur bad guys.

(Joey hasn't been on the blog lately. He's a long waisted brown tabby tuxedo with a big white J or swooshe in the middle of the brown striped saddle on his back. Joey likes to go to Ninja meetings and meet other super hero cats.)
