Being fans of all things autumn and Halloween, we love this blog hop even more when it ties in with JNW's Halloween Challenge. Today is Day 8 of this festive challenge, and the prompt is corn maze/hay ride. We really had to think about this one. We considered going all Stephen King's "
We wanted the drawing this week to be fun. Well, it was fun for this human, and certainly for Astrid, but the kitties? Maybe not for them so much. Sorry, my furry felines. I just couldn't help myself.
So, anybuddy else want a fast and furious hay ride?
Happy Caturday to all!

Our Tip of the Day:
We've talked before about how feeding pumpkin to your furbaby can be beneficial. Pumpkin is, as we've said, high in fiber, which means it can be of use to a furbaby suffering from constipation, as well as to one suffering from diarrhea. But did you know that pumpkins are so much more than that? The aforementioned fiber of pumpkins is also beneficial in combating hairballs, and can also aid with weight loss as it helps a furbaby feel more full. Pumpkins also happen have high moisture content, which can make it a great dietary supplement for furbabies who eat primarily dry food. Pumpkins are also high in potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron, anticancer beta-carotene, and other antioxidants. Therefore, it might not hurt to see if your furbaby would enjoy the occasional treat of pumpkin. You are welcome to prepare pumpkin yourself by carving, cooking, and pureeing it. But, you can also simply purchase plain pureed pumpkin in a can, as long as you avoid pie filling that has added spices, sugar, and other ingredients that your furbaby would best not have added to their diet. You can offer pumpkin as a small meal or treat, or you can add it in to their existing food. Of course, not all furbabies will like pumpkin, so be sure to test it out first. And if in doubt about whether your furbaby should have it, or how much, consult their veterinarian. All in all, though, pumpkin can be a great treat for your kitty or pup for more reasons than one.

MOL we love your hayride. We wonder if we could put hay in Mommy's garden wagon and have Fenris pull us around. ~The cats from ATCAD
I am NOT pulling a wagon ~Fenris
I am hiding in case the cats decide I will do to pull the wagon. ~Tuiren
I love all your art and I am especially enjoying your Halloween art. This is too cute with Astrid pulling your kitties around. Mine would be eating the hay, when we had rabbits, they were always trying to get the hay- Phoebe especially. Hope you have a great weekend!
Great tip, I wish I could get my cats to eat pumpkin, but they refuse.
Aw...da sweet kitties with saucer eyes so big!!! I hope Astrid gets some treats for all that extra work!Love your creativity!!!!!!! Your fans, P & P

I thought it would be more fun for the kitties than Astrid since she's doing all of the work. I eat pumpkin soup everyday since I don't drink water. It's good for all the things you say it is.
Now that's a hay ride I would love to hitch a ride on!
What a fun pic! We would love to go on a hayride with all of you!
That sure would be fun! We would love to be on the Astrid-powered Halloween Hayride. :)
A hay ride sounds good to US! Will there be mice hiding in them?
That looks amazing! Hold on tight, kitties!
