So, here are our contributions to the Sunday Selfies blog hop, hosted by our good furiends over at The Cat on My Head. These selfies we have for you show an awful lot of snout, and even a smile or two. I hope you don't mind.
These fun friends I made were more eager and willing to snap some selfies than my own furbabies. What's up with that?
One more creature we have for you today is this little guy and his loot:
I drew this squirrely little thing with the hopes of making it part of a Thanksgiving-inspired mixed media sign, or something of the sort, for one of my upcoming art fairs. Obviously the sign is not finished yet, and only this part of it is complete. Sometimes my progress is slow and steady. I'm not sure I'll win the race that way, but I might get close.
Wishing everybuddy a bright and beautiful Sunday!

Our Tip of the Day:
Did you know that acorns can be toxic to your furbaby? Acorns contain a large quantity of tannins, which is why, if ingested, especially if in large amounts, acorns can lead to upset stomach, ulcers, vomiting, diarrhea, and potentially kidney damage, among other concerns. Not to mention, ingesting acorns can lead to intestinal blockage in your furbaby. Although autumn is a beautiful time of year, please be cautious of the potential dangers it may pose, acorns being one of them.

We like your squirrel drawing so far. Thanks for sharing it with us in progress.
Happy Sunday!
Those are great selfies, they looked like they were having fun. I like your squirrel drawing, very cute. I did not know that about acorns. My cats wouldn't want to eat them , but I bet some dogs would. I don't bring acorns inside because one time I wanted to do a project and brought some in- and the next day they had maggots crawling out of them-ICK!
Those are lovely bovine snout selfies! The squirrel drawing is cute.
Esses caras são muito simpáticos! hihi
Seeing a happy cow always makes me happy too, they have such wonderful expressions, as does that little squirrel. I just hope she has a good memory for where she will put those acorns! purrs ERin

Those are some crazy good selfies. Made our mom smile. And that squirrel is especially adorable. Thanks for the info about acorns. We didn't know that! Thanks for hopping. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
I love these!
I did not know acorns are bad for our babies! Fortunately we don't have any in our yard.
MOL! We can see up their noses!
Thanks so much for your comments about Wally. Regarding duck, I have fed the cats some wet foods with duck, but foods with duck are not their main or consistent diet. They mostly get chicken or lamb. I don't know if the occasional duck food would have caused Wally's issues, but thanks for mentioning it. I will try to stay away from duck in the future. ~Island Cats Mom
