Sunday Selfies

If nothing else, weekends are great for the funtastic blog hops they have to offer. Today we're all ready for the always enjoyable Sunday Selfie blog hop, hosted by our pals at the The Cat on My Head.

After two weeks of special guest selfies, my furbabies are all ready to show off their masterful skills again.

Astrid wanted to show off that, although her mom did actually manage to gather
up the Halloween decor that was still haunting the house, she forgot a couple things.
Do you all see that pumpkin head, just staring at her back there? Silly human.

Evan struck a pose in the sun. At the front door. Again.

Thimble likes to show off those big eyes of hers, and her whiskers, and her profile.
The girl just likes the world to see her good looks. (Can you really blame her?)

Great shot, huh? This less than quality, dark, stink eye of a shot is the best that
Eddy could do this week. All I can say is that at least we were lucky enough that she
actually decided to snap a shot this time around.

Yesterday's art fair was fun and festive and overall a blast. There were so many great people looking for Christmas gifts for family and friends and even themselves, and it was just such a fun environment. There's something so great about knowing where your arts and crafts will be ending up, and so many people told me about their family and friends and themselves and why they were choosing the pieces they were. And, of course, I always love when I meet a fellow animal lover!

This time of year, there are so many holiday arts and craft fairs that it often feels like you simply can't crank out enough pieces for them all. That's part of the fun of it, though, I would say. I sometimes pull a late nighter trying to finish this piece or that. And, if I'm to be honest, the rebel juvenile in me kind of gets a thrill out of that.

Anyway, the drawing I'm sharing today is just a quick doodle I recently made, with one of my favorite quotes in mind. I won't tell you anymore just yet, in case I actually manage to follow through with turning this drawing into a sign using that quote, which I'd show you then.

We're wishing everybuddy a bright and beautiful Sunday!

Our Tip of the Day:
Yesterday we gave a tip about how crafty items such as glue and tape and ink could be potential toxins or dangers for the furbabies in our lives Today we're going to add on to that and remind you to be careful of certain other crafty items that often tempt our furbabies. So, please be careful with any sort of yarn or thread or string, as well as things such as pipe cleaners and cotton balls and cotton swabs. Even small scraps of fabric or other debris left behind after craft time could tempt a furbaby. Many such things are potential dangers to the GI tracts of our furbabies, with the concern of intestinal obstructions and such, not to mention the potential choking hazard. Certainly don't stop crafting, though, but instead simply be cognizant of where your arts and craft items are placed, and be sure that said location is out of your furbaby's reach.

I think I know what quote will go with your beautiful drawing :) Everyone looks adorable in their selfies. Great tip , ribbons and needles are especially
dangerous. The other day my niece was mad at me for cutting the ribbon off her daughter's balloon, but one of the cats kept chewing on it and I was afraid she would get to it when everyone was gone to bed or not home.

We love all of your selfies, sweet friends. Evan's is our favorite this week - the sun on his whiskers is wonderful. :)

What a great illustration. We're not sure about what quote you had in mind, though. But we love the drawing, for sure!

Hugs!

That is a cute drawing. Lovely selfies from all of you, even if Eddy was giving the stink eye.

Great to see everyone this Sunday! And Astrid, I am laughing at that pumpkin! We still have a halloween sign in our front yard! LOL. Guess we are little behind the times.
