Thimble Squared Thursday

Thimble met another little thimble in her Thimble Thursday post last week. We had some trouble deciding a title for that double Thimble post. Ever so creative Mudpie and her mom Melissa gave us the idea of Thimble Squared Thursday. Well, we liked that so much we wanted to do a redo just so that we could use it.

So, there it is again. That thimble, always lurking over poor Thimble. See? It won't even leave her alone while she tries to enjoy some window whiffies.

Now, let's be honest. Thimble is not the biggest fan of competition.

So, she took matters into her own hands paws. What else to do than bat that photobombing thimble away? That's how you wipe out the competition. You just brush it under the rug. Or the couch. The couch works great, too.

Ah, that's more like it. Peace, and quiet, and sun puddle snoozes, and no more competition from all those thimble wannabes. In fact, those are the very things for which Thimble is so very grateful to enter into Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

And, as always, we're also thankful for our family and furiends, like you!

Wishing everybuddy a beautiful day!

Our Tip of the Day:
We had our first mosquito home intrusion of the year last night. Please do realize that mosquitoes, and other potentially dangerous insects, can indeed find ways into your home, such as through open doors or even small cracks. Mosquitoes carry heartworm, as I'm sure most of you know. So, please do take this into account when considering preventive care for your furbabies. Preventives that cover heartworm are often only able to be obtained at a veterinary office, or by prescription, so please consult your veterinarian about protecting your furbaby against all potential threats such as this. Keep in mind also that, while dogs can be go through an often difficult yet viable treatment for heartworm, there is no heartworm cure for cats. Long story short, please do take heartworm into consideration when it comes to preventive care for your kitty or pup. Their life could depend on it!

Good job knocking that thimble out of the way, Thimble. Very cute photos and drawing too. Great tip too, kitties tend to poke holes in the screen making it easy for mosquitoes to get inside.
