C is for...

We're ready for another day of the A to Z Challenge.

As we've mentioned the past couple of days, we're be sharing a series of doodles starring my angel Rosie for this year's A to Z Challenge. In this series of doodles, Rosie will be going throughout a more or less routine sort of day, doing this and that, A to Z style. So, what's Rosie doing with the letter C?

C is for...Cooking Breakfast (don't forget to eat it, too!)

Throughout this A to Z Challenge, we're also going to do our best to share furbaby photos that in some way correlate with angel Rosie's daily alphabetical adventures. Many of these will be flashback photos that fit in with that day's theme. Today, to go with the to A to Z topic of Cooking Breakfast, we have for you a certain pair of kitties enjoying a breakfast of stinky goodness.

I'm just going to sit here and pretend like I always feed my cats canned food on a bare hardwood floor, and that food is never splattered on said floor, and every nearby wall. Yeah, let's go with that.

Wishing you all a Wednesday filled with yummy things!

Our Tip of the Day:

Our tip today is a reminder to of course keep in mind your furbaby's proximity and safety when you are preparing food. Preparing food can often include hot stoves and ovens, objects such as knives, or foods that can be toxic to our furbabies, such as onions or chocolate. For this reason, when preparing any of your meals, closely monitor your kitty or pup and keep them well away from anything that could cause them harm. If necessary, block curious cats and dogs from the kitchen when food preparation is underway. This might entail cooking behind closed doors, or putting up gates or other blockades in doorways.

Similarly, also be sure to keep your furbaby safe when you are eating any potentially dangerous foods, whether or not you prepared them at home. What's more, keep this in mind when you have guests over. Guests might not know what foods can be dangerous to a kitty or pup, which could lead to toxicity if a furbaby is given scraps or if a guest sets down a plate of harmful food in a furbaby's reach. To prevent any such emergencies, do consider informing guests of rules relating to your furbaby and table scraps. Especially when guests are over, if need be, you can again consider keeping your furbaby out of harm's way by blocking them from the room in which a meal is being eaten. It may seem sad to keep your furbaby away from the festivities, but this may indeed be the safest thing for them, for more reason than one.

Breakfast is the best meal of the Day for us and Dad too. We have a kitty who likes to drag his noms from the plate to floor before eating. He says it tastes better that way MOL

A meal is not a meal unless it is enjoyed thoroughly by oneself and all of the objects/walls/floors around oneself.

Breakfast is TW favorite meal. She likes what Rosie's cooked too. Sunnyside up eggs are her fave.

Oh my the doodles are adorable! Don't we know all about the messy floor after meal times. The mop comes out every time! The things we do for the love of our purries!
