F is for...

It's another day of the A to Z Challenge!

As we've mentioned, our contributions to the A to Z Challenge this time around are a series of doodles starring my angel Rosie. In this series of doodles, Rosie is going throughout a more or less routine sort of day, doing this and that, A to Z style. Yesterday, for the letter E, Rosie showed off the not-so-fun task of Earning a Living at the 9 to 5. So, what's Rosie got going on now with the letter F?

F is for...Freedom from the 9 to 5 (woohoo!)

Throughout this A to Z Challenge, we're also doing our best to share furbaby photos that in some way correlate with angel Rosie's daily alphabetical adventures. We may have to make some stretches and take some liberties, and many of these will be flashback photos that fit in with that day's theme. Yesterday, Eddy showed you all how hard she works as her mom's IT department. Remember?

To go along with today's A to Z topic of Freedom from the 9 to 5, Eddy is showing off what she does after she's done with a hard day of work.

When you get off work, you just gotta chill and let loose, right? Eddy thinks that's the only way to do it.

We hope your Caturday is as relaxed as Eddy's!

Our Tip of the Day:

Today's tip is to keep your furbaby's care and comfort in mind when it comes to your work schedule. What we mean is, take into consideration your work hours, and how long you are away from home, and what that means for how often your cat or dog is cared for throughout the day. For example, if you work a full day and do not get to come home for lunch, consider what this means for your furbaby's bathroom habits. If you have a dog who needs to go outside to use the restroom, and you are gone from home for eight hours, then do consider having someone you trust, such as a family member, friend, neighbor, or trusted pet-sitter, stop in to allow your pup a bathroom break. Also consider if your furbaby is aged, ailing, or on scheduled medications. If you cannot be home at a time that your kitty or pup needs checked on or medicated, then again schedule to have someone trustworthy come to your home to ensure your furbaby is properly cared for. Sometimes the hours we work in order to pay for our furbaby's care can interfere with being home at a time when our cats or dogs might need certain care. If this is the case, reach out to family or friends to ask who might be able to assist. This is also why pet-sitters and pet-sitting companies exist. Of course, as you all certainly know, always be sure that you meet, get to know, and trust anyone you ask to care for your beloved furbabies.
