Happy Friday, friends! Who's ready for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge? We sure are! If you'd like to join in, please don't hesitate to do so. My co-host Ellen of 15andmeowing came up with the first two fill-in statements, and I came up with the second two.
1. I have given up _________.
2. On St. Patrick's Day, I _________.
3. I get cranky when _________.
4. _________ is my good luck charm.
My answers are below in bold.
1. I have given up some of my favorite blankets for my kitties' comfort.
(I try to have blankets for my kitties that are separate from my own favorite blankets. I have still nevertheless lost some of my most favorite blankets to the kitties. A couple weeks ago we even had a couple of posts here on our blog showing how Tonks sort of stole one of my most favorite blankets from me. It's a fleece blanket with a giant panda design on it, as pandas are one of my favorite animals. I took said blanket out of the dryer and made the fatal error of setting it down on the couch for what I thought would just be a brief moment. That brief moment turned into forever, though, because Tonks immediately curled up on it where I had sat it down on the couch. Weeks later and I still haven't gotten it back. Such is life with cats.)

2. On St. Patrick's Day, I feast on Dublin coddle.
(I talked about Dublin coddle in one of last year's March fill-ins as well. Dublin coddle, also called Irish coddle or simply just coddle, is a traditional Irish stew. It includes ingredients like sausage, potatoes, carrots, and other yummy goodness, and I love it. I can't take credit for eating this on St. Patrick's Day, though. My mom cooks it up. She also makes a variety of cabbage dishes on St. Patrick's Day, but my taste buds are quite opposed to cabbage, so I feast solely and quite happily on the delicious Dublin coddle.)

3. I get cranky when I can't stick to my routine.
(I was going to put something about how I get cranky when I'm hungry or when I'm tired, but then I decided to try to pick something a bit less obvious. So, I'm here to admit that I'm not always a very happy person when my preferred daily schedule gets switched up. I'm not a spontaneous sort of person. I'm far more into having a routine. From the time I wake to the time I go to sleep, I honestly enjoy sticking to a loose albeit still existing schedule. When I can't stick to this routine that I prefer, I get forced out of my comfort zone and therefore admittedly get a bit cranky. I know this isn't a good thing, but it's the way I am nonetheless.)

4. My furry family is my good luck charm.
(I'm admittedly not really one to believe in or use good luck charms. That being said, my kitties and pup make me feel like one lucky lady, so I will happily consider them to be my good luck charms.)

Now, of course, it's time for your Eddy fix! For today, Eddy cares even less than usual if she snaps a clear, quality shot. She just wants you all to remember how cute her snaggletooth is.
Some of you might remember, but for those who don't, Eddy came to me as a 10-week-old kitten with some neurological issues. She recovered from these ailments, but she was left with a permanent yet adorable head tilt as well as facial nerve paralysis that makes her right canine always adorably stick out. I love it.
Have a fantastic Friday!

Have always thought that snaggletooth is cute as can be - it's Eddy's "signature" !! Great filling in and thanks for being our co-hostess.

Another great Eddy shot and weekly fill ins.
For me, I had to give up my pillow for the cats. But, it's worth it :)
Have a great weekend!
Eddy is adorable love the snaggletooth look! Dublin Coddle is something I've not heard about. I think cabbage is more my speed though. To each their own!
Your fill ins are terrific.

I love your St. Patrick's Day dinner. Do you have a recipe. Sounds most delicious.

Great fill-in answers. Good to know you are not spontaneous either. I always say I need 24 hours notice of anything. And I have lost many a blankie to my kitties. Eddy is a cutie and that is an excellent non blooper of her. I like the drawing. And excellent tips too. Have a wonderful weekend. XO
I love Eddy's "smile." ~Ernie
Eddy is so adorable. I'm a person who needs routine too. MOL about the blankies!
Even if they take over everything, your pets do make you lucky to have them, and Eddy is especially cute today.
