Flashback Doodle of the Day

Today's flashback is one I scribbled up and shared last spring. Last year we even made a banner for our blog out of this one. After noticing that I still have a winter banner on our blog, today I'll likely put this flashback doodle banner up so that we can be more festive for spring.

We're finally going to be getting around to sharing our new springtime doodles starting tomorrow. We'll begin with our springtime doodle that goes with our weekly, Thursday poem. I mentioned a few days ago that this March our new doodles might be sporadic and less frequent, and that's in part because my full-time job has been crazy, but also in large part because I'm using a lot of my artsy time to get a head start on my daily doodles for the April A to Z Challenge. Is anyone else participating in the A to Z Challenge this year?

Tip of the Day

Today's tip for National Pet Poison Awareness Month is probably an obvious one. If applicable to you, we want to remind you to keep all substances such as cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, and anything nicotine-related away from your kitties and pups. Nicotine can be highly toxic to dogs and cats, especially depending on how much they consume. It can cause a variety of serious side effects, ranging from vomiting to cardiac and neurological disturbances. Keep any and all nicotine products away from your furbabies, and observe them in unfamiliar places to ensure that they do not ingest stray cigarette butts. If you know or think that your kitty or pup might have ingested any form of nicotine, do not hesitate to seek veterinary assistance.
