Thankful Thimble Thursday

It's Thursday, and we're heading right into Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Today, Thimble is grateful for sunny window views.

But, do you see that bright orange thing out there? That's the pumpkin head over our light post, and it's still up. Thimble says this human of hers really needs to let go of Halloween. This here human does not agree.

Don't mind the green trees in that photo. This is actually a photo from a bit earlier in the season, because the pumpkin head didn't fully survive a storm we had and now he's still up but sort of in pieces, and it felt wrong to share a photo of him in shambles. So we found a photo of him from earlier. Even so, whether or not this here human refuses to let go of Halloween, Thimble still enjoys the sunny window view.

And now how about we share the fill-in statements for tomorrow's Friendly Fill-Ins challenge? My wonderful co-host Ellen of 15andmeowing came up with the first two, and I came up with the second two.

1. My list of things to do in November includes _________ and _________.

2. A _________ is _________.

3. I never would have guessed that _________.

4. _________ is an unpopular opinion that I have.

We'll see you tomorrow, friends!

Yet Another Halloween Doodle

Since I love Halloween so much, I've decided to share a couple of final Halloween doodles. Tomorrow will likely be the last one, but I honestly won't promise that just yet. Either way, especially for those who are good and done with Halloween, I can promise they'll stop soon. Even though that pains me.

Today's spooky doodle is brought to you by the fact that I'm still watching Halloween movies, such as how just last night I yet again watched the original Halloween. Because why not.

Tip of the Day

Our pet cancer prevention tip for today is about food. Quality food, that is as natural and nutrient-dense as possible, is important for our furbabies for a variety of reasons. One such reason is to promote a healthy immune system that can sufficiently ward away diseases, including cancer. Foods of poorer quality not only put a kitty or pup at risk of an unhealthy immune and other systems, but can also potentially contain ingredients that are less than beneficial to their health overall. For both our furbabies and ourselves, some artificial ingredients and preservatives in certain foods have even been found to be potentially carcinogenic. For this reason and others, if possible, please do consider a high quality diet for your furbaby. Foods with natural ingredients are most ideal, as these will of course provide natural nutrients that can help keep your furbaby healthy and happy all around. As most of you already know, food plays a large role in life for a vast number of reasons.

Our neighbor keeps their Halloween decorations up ALL YEAR, including a hulking great skeleton!
Makes the huge rooster in another yard look merely interesting.

It's still within the limits of reason to have Halloween up, especially as pumpkins can double as simply autumn decor.

Thimble, you are beautiful!

Thimble does look a little annoyed, but still adorable. I can't let go of Halloween either. :)
Nice drawing and great tips.
