That's not to say that I didn't muddle my way through a drawing this week, though. After realizing that my girl Eddy had not starred in a drawing all to herself in quite some time, I chose her as my subject. That was the easy part, choosing which of my furbabies to exploit this week. But then I needed to decide where to go with that.
Sometimes my crazy head is inundated with more ideas than I could ever want, and then I have to sift through them and decide which one is coherent enough to actually work with. This week was not one of those times, though. This time around, my mind was like a dried up lake bed, all empty and boring. Well, to remedy that, the best laid plan was obviously to put on True Grit and see what happened. And what happened was this:
So, I guess there's a new sheriff in town? Don't ask me. I just work here.
Happy Caturday, everybuddy!

Our Tip of the Day:We've talked before about our furbabies and the toxicity of certain plants. Always keep in mind, though, that it's not just potential toxins that can make plants dangerous to your furbabies. Some plants can be more in the lines of physical aggressors, with the potential to cause physical injury. For example, we all know that some cacti can put up a painful fight, and stick with you afterwards. If a cactus is in a location accessible to your kitty or pup, they could potentially end up with needles lodged in their skin, mouth, or even in their eyes. Sometimes they can even make matters worse by biting or digging at the needles, and thereby causing them to get lodged in their mouth or more deeply into the skin at the point of origin. This could obviously lead to a variety of wounds, as well as potential infection among other potential medical concerns. Other plant material of which to be cautious for similar reasons include rose thorns, cockleburs, and foxtail grass seeds. If you have any of these or similar plants at or near your home, please always take precautions to keep your furbabies free and safe from injury. And of course, if your furbaby were to have a run-in with any such plants and thereby become injured, never hesitate to call your vet.

Eddy is the cutest sheriff I have ever seen. That is a great drawing, you are so talented. Good tip too, I just keep all plants in the dining room which is a cat free zone. We had to put a hook on the door to keep them out and chicken wire on the opening between the kitchen and dining room. Have a great weekend!
Gorgeous drawing (and model) ... LOVE the green eyes and the slightly cocked head.
Love it! Very talented :)

Excellent advice. M doesn't let me eat any kind of plant just in case it isn't good for me. She said she'd rather be safe than sorry.
That's a wonderful drawing! We love it!
