This week, our hosts yet again came up with some great fill-ins for us to, well, fill in. Here they are:
1. The last movie I saw at the theater was _________.
2. The title of my autobiography would be _________.
3. I would love to learn _________.
4. I am glad that I learned _________, because _________.
Aren't those great? I hope my answers are even a fraction as great as this source material. I'll let you all be the judges of that, though, so here you go:
1. The last movie I saw at the theater was Don't Breathe.
(I saw this horror film just about 2 weeks ago. What can I say? I love me a scary movie. This weekend I'll be going to see The Magnificent Seven, and being a fan of Westerns, I'm really looking forward to it. Although generally a homebody who is perfectly content spending an evening watching movies at home with my furbabies, I also quite enjoy watching movies at the theater. Of course, this may or may not be in part due to the fact that I tend to equate theater time with stuffing my face full of candy while I stare up at the big screen.)
2. The title of my autobiography would be I'll Be in My Bubble.
(My mom and I more or less have this running joke in which, when we need some quiet time away from the craziness of life, we say that we're going back to our bubbles. We all have a personal bubble like that, right? To be honest, despite the fact that I have a daily habit of exploiting my furbabies on this very blog and have even gotten more comfortable opening up about myself, I am generally a very private person. While I can manage well enough out in public to survive, I will always happily be an introvert, enjoying downtime at home with my furbabies more than anything else. I quite like my little bubble, and I am content to stay inside it. That being said, I have a feeling that I'll Be in My Bubble would be a painfully boring read.)
3. I would love to learn how to play the violin.
(I love the beautiful music a violin can produce. And cellos, too. I learned to play the piano as a child, but if I could go back to my childhood, I would also beg my parents for violin and/or cello lessons.)
4. I am glad that I learned how to cook and bake from my mom, because she knows all the tricks.
(When I was younger, my mom would pick nights where she'd have me help make supper. She would even let me pick what I was making, and then she'd help me and give me tips along the way. Even as I got older and started cooking on my own, I'd always ask her if I wasn't certain of the best way to make something. And I still ask her for tips to this day. From pasta, to hamburger, to chicken, to vegetables, to all sorts of baked goods and other foods, I've gotten a lot of lessons and pointers from my mom, and now I love to cook and bake and even experiment with a variety of dishes. I also have tons of my mom's recipes.)
Now, it's time for your weekly Eddy fix! I chased this active girl around with the camera all week. Between bouncing off walls and hanging from window screens, she was having a lot of trouble sitting still. Yesterday morning, though, I caught her resting in one of her favorite spots on my bed. I grabbed the camera as quietly as I could, and she actually stayed put while I prepared it. But, I forgot to loop the neck strap up over my head, which meant it was left dangling, which meant all I ultimately got were pictures like this:
Well, do we at least get an A for effort on that photo shoot?
We want to wish all of our furiends a happy Friday!

Our Tip of the Day:For the safety of your furbabies, remember to never leave any strings or cords dangling at your home. Strings for curtains and blinds can be a serious danger if your furbaby hooks them around their neck, or even around a leg. Some furbabies even try to chew on or consume such strings, which can result in a choking hazard or potential damage to the throat or intestines. And of course exposed electrical cords are hazardous for a number of reasons, such as if hooked around a furbaby's neck or leg, or of course if chewed on. Even consider how you leave things like handles to purses or other bags. Our furbabies can get themselves into trouble even during simple playtime, so always be sure to leave things like strings and cords tucked away or otherwise safe and secured.

Those are such great fill ins. And Eddy, those photos of you are just great. You look so cute having a nap. Glad the Mom got them. You all have a great week end.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers and the thought you put into them. I love the title, I'll Be in My Bubble, and I am sure it would not be boring. I am an introvert too, when I do go out into the world, I need a lot of downtime to recoup. Being that you can read music, I am sure you would pick up playing another instrument. You are never too old to learn something new and you are very young so I highly recommend you start taking lessons. Your parents sound like amazing people, that is so wonderful that your Mom taught you how to cook and that she let you plan meals. If all parents were that attentive, the world would be better place.
Eddy is adorable, those are fun shots. And that is a great tip. Most of my windows have pull shades for safety instead of blinds with strings. Have a great weekend!
Those are great photos of Eddy in action! Our mom is also very glad she learned how to cook - it is an important life skill to have and she thinks home economics should be taught in schools again!
Eddy is adorable. Who can resist a camera strap? :)
We always say, "I'm going to my trailer!"...we are a theatre family, at least our girls are in the theatre. It is something that we heard a long time ago from a prima donna. :)
I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. For the most part, I learned how to cook on my own. David's mother showed me some things, like how to make squash casseroles and chicken casseroles. However, no one ever taught me about suitable herb and spice substitutions, which led to a *fun* experiment. You can read about that on David's blog. I think he titled it "Herb Livers". Over 30 years later, we still get a laugh over that experiment. :)
I wanted to learn to play the violin when I was a child, too (still do). I love the versatility of this instrument. By high school, I switched to wanting to play the saxophone. I never got to do any of them, including the piano. Oh well. Now, I couldn't remember the notes long enough to play even Mary Had a Little Lamb if I wanted to. :)
PS I also meant to say have a great day. I hit the submit button too soon. :)
I didn't know that The Magnificent Seven opens this weekend. Now I know what I will be seeing! I completely agree with you on #2. And that was a perfect photo shoot because it looks like it was a lot of fun!
It is not too late for you to learn to play the violin. As my father used to say, "You won't never learn no younger." The idea being start where you are right now and do what you can.
Great fill-in answers! EDDY! What a sweetheart! Our Mom is extra paranoid about strings and stuff like that. We say, let's have fun with this string! Our Mom says, Nope, and then she throws us a stripey ball or mousie or something. We're okay with that.

Those are very cute photos of you, Eddy.
Those pictures are too cute! What a fun girl :) I'm happy living in a bubble too. I'm so quiet and private in my everyday life; I only open up on our blog. Enjoy The Magnificent Seven...I love westerns too, unusual for being "younger".
OMG, I love those pictures! Eddy looks like our Dude! Cute!!
I want to see The Magnificent Seven. We like westerns, too. Scary movies? Pass.
Thank you for joining us for the Fill-Ins. Hugs!
