Penny for your thoughts, Astrid?
Oh, I see.

Our Tip of the Day:
Do not take this human's doodles as good advice! First, as I'm sure you all know, bones can be very dangerous for your furbaby, for reasons such as choking hazard and possible intestinal perforation and/or obstruction if consumed. So, please be sure to keep all bones away from your furbabies. If need be, take any bones from Thanksgiving dinner, or any dinner, straight to a safe and secure waste bin. Not only that, but feeding turkey, especially in large amounts, can land you at a veterinary ER with a furbaby suffering from pancreatitis. Turkey can be a very fatty food, and fatty foods may lead not only to general intestinal distress, but pancreatitis, which can be very serious, painful, and potentially life-threatening. This is why veterinary ERs are sometimes especially busy places around Thanksgiving and Christmas. So, please be aware and cautious of what foods your furbaby has access to this holiday season!

Oh, thank you for the 'no bones about it' info. And yes, poultry bones are often dangerous, like fish bones, even for anthros! Happy turkey to you all from Loulou.
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We usually give Ruby one or two tiny treats, but that's it.
Astrid, that is such a cute picture of you with your turkey. We think a tiny bit wouldn't hurt you if it is white meat. You all have a wonderful Turkey day.
Astrid is a cutie. Great drawing too. And that tip is so important. My cats are in the bedroom for the holidays, but we are super careful with chicken bones and get the trash bag out immediately. Have a great turkey day!
Happy Turkey Day Astrid.
One year we cooked the turkey and then took it to the house where we were having dinner. The poor kitties had to sit around and smell that all day and didn't get a bite.

Great tips about turkey and pets. Lovely art and...Happy Thanksgiving!
Astrid has the proper priorities :)
Astrid...we hope you get lots of turkey...sans bones.
Those are good thoughts even though you can't have the bones.
Great read, very informative! Thank you so much for sharing this with us :)
I guess we can't spoil our fur babies too much with the turkey! hehe
Completely agree with you.
Happy Thanksgiving Eve & enjoy the rest of your day :)

Mmm...I can practically taste it now!
Yep no turkey for my boys. BTW turkey isn't good for male cats....they can have it, but sparingly. catchatwithcarenandcody
